It’s really hard for a team to defeat a conference, and well, let’s face it, LIFELONG RIVAL, twice in one season, but this Lincolnton team, they’re just built different, and I’ve only said that twice before. Both times, they were State Champions, and this edition of the Wolves, they’ve got that one thing was missing from both of the previous times I’ve had that feeling…they’re totally comfortable with playing from behind, honestly, I would be worried if they went into halftime with the lead. These kids, they need a bar to leap over in the second half…that’s why I like them to whip Shelby twice and come from behind to defeat the Beast in the East in the State Championship. I’m old, my feels could be off, but these kids just always find a way to make it happen literally in the last seconds when it matters the most.

You Lincolton guys keep thinking that yall will beat Shelby again...this Shelby team turned the corner after the Burns game, and are playing light out.
Also with stud freshman runner that started playing after the game with yall ,and now is around 900 yrds rushing...
Always remember Shelby gets better and better as year goes....
And one last thing, this team is pissed over that loss and some of the things that went on after game.....Get ready we comming!
