Iowa (6-0) is back home after a pair of nice wins over Baylor & Miami down in Florida.

The leathernecks (4-0) come to town with a lot of confidence with an undefeated record and recently beating their rival Bradley.

I am a bit worried about this one, WIU is no slouch and the hawks and just getting back from a couple of hard fought games.

I expect Wright to remain out tonight making it more difficult.

I could see this being a nice tight game until mid Q3 when the Hawkeyes depth really started to wear down WIU.

I’m seeing 81-67 hawks.

Western Illinois did beat Bradley but Bradley also lost to IUPUI by 8. Their other wins are against a 0-7 Westminster team, a 2-4 N. Illinois team a 1-5 Chicago St. team. If this is anything less than a 30 point win, our gals are sleepwalking.

That's pretty cool the dog show people rounded up some players for a game.

Should be a comfortable win. Heiden and Stuelke will feast. with big lead in hand, hope we see the Hawkeye guards work, especially Deal.

Appreciate WIU coach JD Gravina. His teams always well prepared and play hard… just too much to match Iowa.

I assume thats Westminster college in Fulton, Mo. My middle son played for the Bluejays back a couple of decades ago. They are a D3 school in basketball.

Mia Nicastro for them is averaging 26 and 10. I’ve personally never watched her play but based off nothing Stuelke and Heiden should be able to stop her.
