What an important win for this team and the beginning of the BMC era. They can really use this going forward. Ole Miss is long and athletic. This was a Stirtz masterclass, just need the other guys to help make contributions too.
Thinking that this will hold up as a quad 1 victory at the end of the year. Beard is a solid coach and they have talent and good size.
I know this is probly gonna end up biting me in the azz, but the Hawks got the toughest test in all this out of the way on the first night.

Its like Ferentz-ball on a basketball court, luckily more talent than when Lickliter tried it. Stirtz reminded me of senior Matt Gatens in this one, every time they needed a three it was going down and they never fell too far behind (nor played fast enough to get very far ahead). Combs and Koch came up big as well in their roles. Let's get another one tomorrow!

Man that was so refreshing watching high quality bball on both ends of the floor. Weird actually having confidence in Iowa making stops defensively at the end.
We have one of the best in game coaches in the game. If he can be one of the best recruiters????? Holy crap. I love what Ben and team have done so far. Really fun game and very proud of the guys.
I'll stay tuned in as long as I can, but that time to be annoyed by the blaring alarm clock is continually ticking down.
