That late TD by North Carolina St was an incredibly gutsy call. Up 3 with 2 minutes to play, 4th and 6 on about the 10. North Carolina hadn’t really moved the ball well. They got the TD and put them away instead of the field goal that would have put them up 6.
Norvell might survive this year simply because it’s a bad time for FSU to be searching for a new coach. They would be no higher than fourth in the pecking order, behind Florida, LSU and Penn State.
I'm not sure if it's suck it to White he's allowed to leave. I bet James would have better stats at Nebraska.
they only won 2 games last year and have a chance to go bowling if they can win next week. They are on the right trajectory at least. Williams can fly a kite.
Watching FSU last night was like watching Frost at NU. A team that does everything they can to lose.

Their last game is at Florida, which means they are likely to finish with another losing season. Even though their record would be better than the year before, I'm sure their fans would like to see Norvell gone.

Yeah, and isn't ironic that White and Knighton thought they could do greater things at FSU and bolted from Nebraska and may be gone in just one year. I don't blame them for the collapse of FSU football but HC Norvell won't survive the heat being applied and a new HC rarely keeps old staff.
I'm mainly concerned with us losing some of our really good, young defensive talent.
They are going to be the key element to moving this program upward.
Pay through the nose for a dominant type NT and another BIG 2nd team ALL BIG type tackle, and NU suddenly becomes close to a national championship type defensive unit.

We have a really good core of defensive players just need that big dude in the middle and retain the core. Upgrade at the OT position and keep building depth on offense. Of course keep our QB's in the fold if at all possible and wouldn't it be nice but most unlikely to keep EJ for one more year.

They need to do a better job scheduling conference games, this is the second time this season Nebraska travels to the east coast on a short week coming up, I’ll add four teams on our schedule that had a bye week before they played us
