Once again the refusal to separate the Catholic charter schools from the public schools has obliterated the playing field. Holidaysburg had the greatest team ever in their history and they are blown out by a Catholic school that recruits. Sickening

Welcome to the situation in Ohio. They tried to separate the Catholic schools, who recruit players, from the public schools. The Catholic schools sued or threatened to sue and that was the end of that. The Catholic schools dominate the playoffs, although the public schools my kids attended (Olentangy Liberty) won the large school state championship last year after losing in the semis a couple of times to Catholic schools. Liberty is not the school Grunk went to, he played for Olentangy HS a couple of miles away in the same school district.

Holidaysburg should identify as a Catholic school, then they can recruit too. Maybe identify as an illegal alien school then thy could super recruit worldwide and bring them in from everywhere.

That’s probably already being done in states like California.

Weren't they once a separate classification? Maybe 25 years ago? I seem to recall that.
What about Independent schools? I believe in NC the Independent schools are their own classification.

As George Carlin once said..."and nobody seems to notice... nobody seems to care".
As I said...sad
