Funny thing is, he will be the first to tell you that #9 (Banks, the sophomore) is faster. He’s got a TD run on about 33% of his carries this year.
The winner of this game should feel pretty good about whomever they play next week.

X rays were negative. But I think he’s getting a MRI tomorrow. He was at Brevard college Saturday and picked up an offer. I think he’s gonna play no matter what but we most definitely need him.

-AAW, they would win their next game against Lexington in the regionals, but would drop the title game to Tarboro in Chapel Hill. I saw that one. Both good teams.
-Speaking of Tarboro, they would beat us 39-36, in the title game two years later with Todd Gurley. Which you were probably there.
-Also, AAW, on the topic of season ending games and "sending us home"; in the spirit of being welcomed guests, this Friday, might be wise to steer away of season ending matchups in the following years: 2005, 2010, and 2015.
Oh, and notice two of those years end in 5's...So does this one. Hope we can make it three.

Haven’t heard, but that’s possible. There’s a poster who must be pretty close to the program and seems to know these things. I’ve noticed he hasn’t been on here. That’s not a good sign.
Any of the MH posters know if this game will be on NFHS? Got a couple guys that can’t make the trip that would like to know. Seems like your games are typically on there but I don’t see the game from this past Friday.

Also looked at our local paper and our three sports guys, all picked MH in a close game.
In the MaxPreps 3A poll, updated as recents as today, MH is ranked #1, with Lincolnton coming in at #6.
If Simmons does a poll I’m doubting it will be any different.
