Y'all crying about anything officiating-related is hilarious. That dual was an absolute joke. Better team still won, even with two starters out.
The officiating was bad and not equal. Say what you want, but one of the chihuahua’s got two reviews with no brick, there should’ve been team points deducted.

Ayala got gifted a stall point, then earned another to get to overtime.

Iowa benefited on every questionable call except one, and were gifted several stall calls.

Gage Marty he injury defaulted yesterday against Luffman
But gage is a heavy, right? I thought anon… was saying Kueter and another starter at a different weight were out. I may have misunderstood though. Thanks for the response.

I think he was implying Williams not starting but that was definitely a tactical decision.

Makes the fact that we’ve lapped the field in titles even more impressive. Given you all an awful long time to catch up and you can’t do it.
Oh yeah, those 26 of your 34 titles before the moon landing were really something. I’m sure you remember them vividly.

Eight natties since the Nixon administration and zero in the last 20 years. Truly impressive!

Whinny, bitchy little Hawkettes... Take yourself back to your own board. We'll see you for the rematch in Stillwater. The results will not be the same.

I wasn’t alive for half of your titles. Guess those aren’t allowed either. Those are the rules you made up.

As if Oklahoma State fans didn’t spend two straight hours doing exactly that this morning lol.

You know what everyone actually makes fun of? Your 20-year title drought.
That’s fine, because only a couple teams have won titles in that time. Meanwhile CHA is a literal meme. Somebody even made a recurring comic strip about it. Look I’m actually a fan of Iowa wrestling. Solidass team year in and year out, a lot of great athletes. I’m only teasing because you chose to come here and complain. Go celebrate bro!

Is that’s true, it means you weren’t born until 1995.

So you’ve seen Iowa win 12 and Okie State win 4, and zero since you were 10 years old haha.

No complaining. Just couldn’t believe your board was actually whining about officiating with one poster even claiming that every 50/50 call went Iowa’s way. That’s absolutely bananas.

and yet, despite all of that cope, Oklahoma state is still the winningest program of all time. swallow it Hawkeye.
He’s digging up pre-WWII natties to flex, but somehow I’m the one coping? Too funny.

Anyway, I’ve had enough fun here. Thanks to Okie State for hosting a great event!

That was a fun dual. I really enjoyed getting that fired up watching wresting in November.

Get your shots in while you can. Our programs are trending in different directions. I like where we are positioned. Looking forward to seeing how things shake out.

Dee was given 2 very questionable calls on takedowns. Ronnie backed up for 5 minutes. And Iowa won FF hwt . It's early in the year but all you guys should slow the we are the best team around talk. FYI D1 wrestling is hard this should ego check many of you posters

I agree it's been fun to have this level of wrestling in November, but in what world is Iowa trending downward? Did you miss that Iowa has the No. 1 class for 2027 and is on track for the top spot in 2028 as well?

Add to that Angelo, Deluca, Harvey, Mocco, and Iowa isn’t going anywhere. But hey, it’s good to see Okie State being relevant again. We are both still chasing PSU for the foreseeable future.

Williams. He wouldn’t matter anyways as he probably gets beat just as bad.
Many teams wrestled 2 guys at certain weights. Williams is the guy currently but he's not gonna be handed the spot automatically Voinivich is in the mix as well

I don’t have to play by your rules. I recognize all titles. If you want to qualify titles, more power to you but it is extreme ***** behavior. You’re not a ***** are ya?!? Nice win today. I’ll be in the home of wrestling to watch us get revenge.

Yeah, John had a couple top classes too near the end.

You're digging 100 years back for titles because it’s all you’ve got in this argument. It’s not that I don’t acknowledge them, but accomplishments from an era when 99.9% of people alive today weren’t even born don’t mean much to me.

And be honest with yourself - Wrestletown, USA is in Iowa. Carver is the best wrestling venue on the planet. That isn’t really debatable.

I’ll be at Gallagher in February too. My brother has season tickets, and we’ll have a whole carload of us heading down.

The talent was there, but John completely lost control of his program in those last few years. I really doubt that happens at Iowa with Tom Brands. The inmates don’t run the asylum - just look at the Bo Bassett situation.

We could combine Iowa, OSU, tOSU, and ISU and still lose to PSU like 7 matches to 3.
Sadly, you're right. Just for fun and not factoring in bonus points...

125: Sprately vs Lilledahl (PSU 0-3)
133: Ayala vs Blaze (Super Squad 3-3)
131: Mendez vs Nagao (Super Squad 6-3)
149: Paniro vs Van Ness (PSU 6-6)
157: Taylor/Robideau vs Duke (PSU 9-6)
165: Caliendo vs MM (PSU 12-6)
174: Kennedy vs Haines (PSU 15-6)
184: Angelo vs Welsh (Super Squad 15-9)
197: Elam vs Barr (PSU 18-9)
HWT: Yonger vs Mirasola (Super Squad 18-12)

Not feeling confident about Super Squad taking 133 or 184. The only real favorites look like 141 and HWT lol.

Robideau and Vega look like a national champion right now, Dee could be wrestling on Saturday. The transfers are not living up to the hype but the good thing is OSU landed another insane class to fill in the voids. The lineup next year is going to be salty.

Vega
Robideau

Been there - cool spot. Doesn’t change the fact your fanbase is still clinging to titles from a century ago to try and flex on Iowa.

I’d much rather watch my alma mater win 16 titles in my lifetime than brag about something that happened 60 years before I was born. But hey, you do you lol.
