This year's team wins by 10-15. Frans last couple teams could put up points against the low and mid level defensive teams, but teams that played defense like we do now could shut us down. I'd see it being something like 80-68.Who wins?
He's on both I would assume. Although 2024 Coop with half the lung capacity likely isn't playing at all. And at what point of the season will this game take place? When Freeman had quit or prior to that?It depends which team Cooper is playing on
Nothing would make any difference. McCollom's team would whip Fran's backside with ease. Defense and rebounding and intensity matter. If you haven't figured that out yet, you've been watching too much Fran ball. Iowa now plays basketball, in all its aspects. Iowa now has an actual basketball coach. Please pay attention. He's on both I would assume. Although 2024 Coop with half the lung capacity likely isn't playing at all. And at what point of the season will this game take place? If it’s a regular season game this year’s team wins by 10 plus. If it’s in the postseason this year’s team wins by 30 plus.
If it's any game beyond the first round of the NCAA Tourney this year's team wins by forfeit. If it’s a regular season game this year’s team wins by 10 plus. If it’s in the postseason this year’s team wins by 30 plus.
I mean, let’s see how we do against ISU and MSU, but you seem rather nonplussed beating a big east team by 19 in the third game when the 2024 team beat South Dakota by 19 in the third game.I have probably only really watched the equivalent of a single game so far. I think this is a better team, but that's not saying much as last year's team wasn't very good. How would anybody know how good this team is given the level of competition? Last year's team couldn't compete with or beat higher level competition. The next few weeks will tell us if this team is different.
The only thing keeping me from getting super excited about that Big East win was Santa Clara curb stomping that same team a few days before. That's a bad team.I mean, let’s see how we do against ISU and MSU, but you seem rather nonplussed beating a big east team by 19 in the third game when the 2024 team beat South Dakota by 19 in the third game.

1/14 @ Purdue LLast year's schedule around this time frame:
1/14 @ USC (L)
1/17 @ UCLA (L)
1/21 vs Minny (L)
1/24 vs Penn St. (W)

This year:
1/14 @ Purdue
1/17 @ Indiana
1/20 vs Rutgers
1/28 vs USC
2/1 @ Oregon
Could be similar. At least we have two home games in a row. What do you think? I'd like to win those two home games for sure.
Oregon is #102 in Net. They don't have a Quad 1 either. Let's steal that game anyways.1/14 @ Purdue L

I originally picked Oregon as a win but I don’t see this Iowa team winning out West

I stand by my prediction. Illinois would have blown the doors off last year's team. The only reason we made it a game is bc we started getting stops on defense.
If we get blown out @ Mackey, I hope the guys are really pissed going into Bloomington.1/14 @ Purdue - L

The two home games and @Oregon should be wins. @Indiana and USC could go either way.
