Yara won a tournament in Egypt in October. He’s wrestling 97kg and looks really good. He is training at Cornell while working in New Jersey. Hope to see him continuing to excel.

Basset TF Bartlett…. I think Basset is the most college ready prospect I ever seen…. Also Tf Ashnault as a sophomore high schooler?.. unreal..

His pace, motor, and mindset at his age is insane.. I don’t think I ever seen him getting gassed.. only way he doesn’t become a NCAA champ is if inj or his strength/motor isn’t as effective in college.. but I don’t think that will be the case as he’s already bonusing his way through college opens.. and beating former champs..

Yep I predict Basset will have the best career outa all the upcoming monster freshman, Duke, Blaze, Forrest, etc.

I like Forrest better, personally. I don’t have any issues with how Bassett carries himself but it leaves the door open for distractions. I also think Forrest is going to get better coaching with Taylor. Forrest also already placed at senior worlds as a high school student.

Wow, that's a bold prediction. Hard to pick between any of them, as they're all ready, so I wouldn't be surprised if all win at least 1 title and are 3x-4x AAs.

Totally agree - Forrest has the wrestling instincts and technique of a kid with potential to win multiple NCs. IMO Forrest and Duke are top to watch.

I think Bassett will be great but kids will figure out ways to slow him down and he does make his fair share of mistakes like snapping guys straight into his legs so VT will have to clean that up. I wonder how much Bartlett has been training because he seem to completely run out of gas.

Wish there was a way to future bet this somehow… Basset just reminds me of a fusion Metcalf/Messenbrink… he’s going to wear everyone down wit his pressure and pace.. VT got a gem.. mark my words.. Basset going to be bonusing his way through nationals..

Forrest , Duke, Miller, Blaze, ect might all do this too but my moneys on Basset. He got all the intangibles.
