You can call Indiana overrated, but they’re about to go to their second consecutive playoff
Agreed, I’m talking about this specific game, not them in general. I was rooting for them to win and stay undefeated until the B1G championship

I wouldn't call a team that's 10-0 and marched into Oregon and won overrated.
Hindsight is great. I was speaking about them in the moment. A team who struggled against a dead Penn state team and needed a miracle catch to win could be viewed as such in the moment if they lost. I’d love to be an overrated 10-0 team

Penn State is better than us. Purdue and Maryland are not. Also, no matter how down and out they may be, PSU absolutely refuses to lose to RU. Doesn’t mean we can’t win, we’ll just need to play our overall best game of the season to do so.

I dont think we committed any penalties yesterday. Do that again and not turn the ball over and limit big plays on D like yesterday and we have a shot.

A few penalties. Way down from prior weeks.

An upset of PSU would be a very big thing for RU. If the PSU that showed up yesterday vs Indiana or on the road at Iowa shows up, RU isn’t winning. Have to hope they are not interested or inspired to play that last game. I also think Indiana is a legit NC contender. That was a very tough environment on the road against an inspired and still talented team. IU showed a lot of grit.

Who knows what team they'll be fielding in a couple weeks, due to possible lack of interest, coaches looking for new jobs, injuries ect. So too they they may be fighting for a bowl berth in that final game.

Three out of nine for the BIG is the minimum that would me me feel ok, recognizing that there are just some of those nine RU isn't going to win (eg Oregon, Ohio St).

I think it's important to note that although they are winless in conference, all of their losses except for Ohio State were by less than a touchdown, including against Oregon and Indiana, so as much as I'm enjoying their abysmal season, that's still going to be a very tough game for us. It would be glorious if we pull it off though, especially with a bowl game on the line.

Michigan State should not be a problem for them although they are only favored by 7. However 3-6 PSU has to get past 7-3 Nebraska before they get a chance to fight for a bowl vs RU. My money is on Nebraska, and RU will remain the only team with a shot at a bowl on 11/29. PSU will be favored, but it could be an interesting day for RU.

Even with Raiola out for the season?

Cornhuskers have a good freshman taking over, TJ Lateef was a 4*(ESPN & Rivals ) out of Orange California and did a pretty good job against UCLA 13-15 205 yards 3 TDs

I wouldn't normally agree with what I am about to say but if we can play a decent game against OSU and then beat PSU at home and get a bowl bid while doing it- I would be ok with the fans storming the field.

I know, act like you have done it before- but that would be the point- we haven't...lol But, I would actually have no problem with it.

We haven't beaten PSU since 1988. If we beat PSU, I think fans will storm. I know I will and I stayed in my seat following Louisville 2006.

I don’t consider an RU win likely, but the best case scenario would be that Penn St win one of their next two games to end their losing streak, but lose the other to have no chance of a bowl.

Get off to a strong start at home against a team with nothing to play for, and hope they just don’t care enough to mount a big response.

As you say, every game was close. The UCLA loss was a hangover after they lost their undefeated season and had to travel to California. Following that loss, they knew they had blown a spot in the college football playoff and had suffered another hangover loss to Northwestern. In their other games, the losses were to teams that are really good and were very close. It doesn't bode well for us. I guess the one glimmer of hope is that their strength is more defense than offense. Any team with a really good offense is going to beat us. Otherwise, we have a chance, albeit a small one.

I don't see any way they lose to MSU, but maybe there's a chance. I'm hoping Nebraska goes on the road and finds a way to beat them. Then they are bowl ineligible and don't have as much motivation to beat RU.
