Smoky Mountain travels down the mountain to Marshville Friday to play Forest Hills. Don't know much about them other than they are a run first offense. Anyone have any info on the Mustangs?

Franklin in the next round will be a different story. They're gonna be a tough out for anyone this year.
Eh. They got lucky in their draw, they’ll be out third round unless FH got some speed in the tank. Playing 1-2a teams will get you beat in playoffs
FH’s defense is very solid. The offense has taken a nosedive in the second half of the season.
If your defense can play against a normal rushing attack, you’ll be fine against Smoky. They don’t have much big play ability or speed.
Franklin doesn’t have a ton of speed but they play good defense and have young RB that is strong as an ox. Franklin has quite a few young players playing key positions.

Goldendomer is spot on. Franklin is back to being Franklin of the past few years. Solid line play, run first offense and a Young at RB that can deadlift houses. One of the nicest and most respectful kids I have ever met who takes great pleasure in dominating other people. And he is only a sophomore. Defense is pretty consistent.
Most of our key players are sophomores and juniors. This year is fun, next year could be special.
I don't think it's the traditional rivalries with Murphy and Swain that are Franklin's issues with late round playoff losses. It has more to do with Franklin playing themselves into the later rounds with solid ball despite never having the team speed that dominates the late rounds.

FHS probably won’t be able to get WCU again because they have a home game next Saturday. Not sure where the next game will be.

They play in a really tough conference. Very good and very physical football played in that league.
Looking at SM’s roster, they have a lot coming back next year, including the QB and RB. Could be a special year for them next year.
Looks like all those 1a-2A teams that Franklin played is still playing and so is Franklin. And I believe your conference teams are all starting basketball practice tomorrow!! Luck or whatever it may be, they are still playing in the 3rd round.

Bragging that robbinsville runs 1a as they always have now that it reverted back like the old little/big a, Murphy is always dominate in 2a but honestly no one is beating tarboro and swain actually got blown out if you didn’t see. And like I said, I figured round 3 would be Franklins outing, at that point I’d eat my words, but I don’t know if I would be bragging that Franklin won by 1 point off a block kick against a team that 8 out of their 9 win games was against 30% and below winning teams and the 1 team they beat with a winning record is actually who just put swain out.
