South is somewhat young. They have a good quality QB thats a sophomore and can run quick if he gets an open also throws ball well. He has good future but still has some growing to do. Watch #4 WR for South. He is one of their main threats on offense. As I see this game as long as AL Brown plays good I see them winning this one. South could play them tough 1st half. My prediction AL Brown 28-14.
Brown by 17. South needs to play a clean game and dominate the 1st half. Get the game to the 4th as a 1 possession game and make something happen. I believe South is actually capable of pulling the upset

As for A.L. Brown they have scored 317 points and have given up 182.
The Vikings defense looks on paper pretty bad… They will have to keep this game a low scoring game to have any chance especially with the Wonders defense really finding a rhythm and their way in the 2nd half of the season. I see this game going 2 ways.. either the Wonder roll and win 49-21 or the Viking play there top A game and keep it a close low scoring game.

Don't let the 3-7 record for SI fool you! Their strength of schedule is 50. AL Brown's is 112. Our conference is weak this year.

I was thinking the same thing Hon Dines about the strength of schedule. Also I remember couple years ago South went 2-8 that season and AL Brown went 5-6. ALB only beat them 28-14. Not to say that will happen this time. Brown could win more like 35-14 or 42-14 for I know.

Think this may actually be a really good game. I’d lean ALB because of their running game. But South can sling that ball around. Wouldn’t shock me at all if this was a shootout.. 35-28 kinda game
I favor Brown at this moment I’ll do some digging before I give a prediction but South D is horrendous but did play well vs Davie but South has no run game vs good team so the ? Is how good is ALB Pass D
Our pass D has come a longggg way since we played yall I can definitely say that but It’s still our weakest strength. If they can’t move the ball through the air, it will be a long night for SI.
We had all kinds of injuries up until about game 5 now as far as I know we are completely healthy.

This is definitely a winnable game for South. Biggest problem for South is the kicker being sidelined and the secondary gives up to many big plays. If they play like they did against Davie, they can come away with the win. If Kannapolis had played the schedule South did, they would be probably the same record that South has. Over half of Cowan's interceptions were on deflected balls off wide receivers
I'm not saying they can't beat us... But I have a hard time seeing them hold us to 20 points. Mooresville is the only team that has held us below 20
I havent seen South play since Statesville game and I only notice 1 player out with injury. Look like #7 had his leg wrapped. I believe he hurt it against Lake Norman. Do you know if they dealing with any more injuries.
Trust me... If South can hold Davie under 20, I feel real good about them holding Brown under 20...
If you look at Davie scores for the year, they are probably only averaging 20 points a game.

The JV kicker was used Friday and he's a step up from who they used the 2 previous games. #7 has multiple tears and will be having surgery. South has moved some players around in the secondary and they are playing better in coverage
I know this version of South wouldn’t be considered a prolific rushing attack, not that they can’t, more just isn’t their style this year. But their RB, assuming it’s the same one we saw, is about as physical runner I’ve seen this year. Kid gets north south and isn’t afraid of contact at all
South is A LOT better than their record. South should be 7-3, 6-4. Don't be surprised. They're battle tested and they do have athletes

They are undiscipline - They STRUGGLED for 2 qtrs with NI and We all know what it been like at NI this season. They have no real run game at all. Tristian Cowan has the MOST PASSING ATTEMPT this yr, His TD/INT Ratio isnt good enough to say HE ELITE and Cowan is not MOBILE enough to win the game on his own imo and that has shown in GAMES and stats. Defensively They are undersize in area and have Underperformed. They only have 1 TRUE threat at WR (There no hate to Bellamy but I didnt know he was that SMALL in height BUT HE is fast).
There been way too many off the field issues with players quiting or wanting to transfer, you had people say the race card was why Cowan was the QB and other things so Even tho I will say I DO THINK THEY DO HAVE SOME ATHLETES - This yr was too much to overcome - LOSING TYLER JOHNSON TO CSD WAS THE BACK BREAKER!
They normally don’t have many plenty’s a game. Now that I said that they will probably have a lot Friday night lol. This is the most discipline team they have had in a long time.
Johnson was not a team player for South. He's not even the QB at CSD. They are using him at RB, WR and playing on defense. Cowan hasn't been given the green light to ad lib plays. He is expected to run the play as the OC calls them. As I said in my other post, over half of his interceptions have been tipped balls off WRs
They're also a pretty discipline team when it comes to turnovers. if what I could find on MaxPreps is correct and this sounds about right we average right at 1 turnover a game. That might still be terrible but comparing it to A.L. Brown teams of the passed that's pretty good lol
U can’t deny Johnson is a piece they are missing plain n simple n OK? he isn’t a QB at CSD but he having a hell of a year and showing how versatile he is
While it maybe tipped ball - It’s still a QB Stat and also when u have the most passing attempts because u have no run game n Cowan doesn’t run the ball effectively I would expect to have a lot of INT bc he has 19 TDs with 14 INT on 253 attempts his best QBR was 132 bc AC but worst was 31.8 vs North Meck
there best rush game was EL prob late and NI and HR but 5 games under avg 4 yard per carry they only have 981 total rushing compared to a total of 2035 passing yards
Normally I would have of done seen AL Brown by now but had decided to see different games. If I was off I go to this one. As for QB for South he still young and going through some growing pains. I predict they will be better next year and even better year after that. Next season I believe the NPC will be more balanced out and fun to watch games.
I agree. Statesville disappointed me. Really expected them to be in the hunt of a conference title. South should be better next year but South also should be better this year. This is a trap game for K-town. South Iredell should feel very confident in game. Kannapolis may be the 6th toughest team they've faced all year. South should be competitive.
