Rudys brother a legend? I will tell him. He might not do it but speed matters. Many, many, many better strength coaches than him. I am sure he does a fine job but all coaches need critique, help and improvement. Many football players run track...even if they are not the fastest. Running track will not make you the fastest but will make you faster. Teaches you rhythm and movement skills. Keeps you in shape. Alot of benefits to track regardless of track talent. Track will help you be better at your chosen sport...football, volleyball...whatever. alot of those boys i saw on the field today need less weightroom and more speed work. I respect your opinion and people can have different points. Here is to a great 2026.

I didn't coach in the NFL, but in my uneducated opinion, the better team won.

Congrats to the Titans.

BTW, "Rudy's brother" has earned the right to be called by his actual name, Francis. And he works with kids from all Joliet area schools, not just JCA. In fact, he's been working with kids for decades, and I believe is approaching 70 and still going strong. The guy is all about the kids. Tough to be overly critical of a guy with that type of commitment to the community and kids in general.

No doubt. And this is the weirdest year for anyone to think JC was too big and bulky and not quick twitch fast enough.

They had plenty of skill guys on offense. Yes, they didn't make many plays yesterday, but all year long they ran a modern offense. They didn't have the quantity of big O-linemen and 200 plus pound backs that they usually have. If anything, they need to be injected with an extra dose of Rudy for next season to get bigger and bulkier so they can move the pile, which is something they were not able to do often enough this season.

In my opinion east stl looming in round 2 got in jca’s head, thus the reasoning behind the lack of motivational “muscle” from thee ol’ Hilltoppers, not to take anything away from thee ol’ feisty glenwood though….

The “reality” is Jca has 15 titles and a handfull of runnerups, glenwood and you should thank the gods that they didn’t run into a traditional Jca squad….
