When the season is complete and Zinn sits down with Schiano to discuss the 2025 campaign, please post one question you want her to ask Schiano.

Please... no silly replies. Only questions you would honestly like her to ask the RU head coach.

My question:

Greg, as humans, we are constantly learning and changing. Please make a list of the top 10 things, as leader of the football program, you do differently now than in the past. Include how each item has led to success to an individual player(s) or the team as a whole.

Excellent question PMike, not what you said she should ask him but what you’re asking here.

There’s really not much she can ask or demand from him. She should ask how he plans to be more competitive next year but he knows he’s safe for at least 3 more years and she won’t have him make staff changes because she realizes he has a history of struggling to find people to work under him.

Further, he’s arrogant and won’t give straight answers.

She’s handcuffed. He has more power and control than she does currently. She’ll stick to fund raising and leave him alone until the buyout shrinks enough to flip the power edge.

Serious question to show Greg she knows football
Are there really only 4 plays that either go left or right in the Entire playbook ???

do you really not return kicks with your best athletes cause a young man you love like a son was paralyzed ?

Big one ….i wasn’t here in 2006 , how long do you think that ONE game will let you earn 6 million a year ?

do you think your take no risk demand from your OC is hurting your ability to hire someone with a bigger playbook then a cape Atlantic league team from South Jersey ??

do you feel lucky that 98% of the fanbase accepts losing and that 2% with higher standards are losers and mean nothing because they don’t donate 100’s of thousands of dollars ???

WHY SHOULD I NOT FIRE YOU ?

Interesting response to a request for a single question.

Hard to limit it to just one. I need a two part question.

Your best teams were built with attacking defenses that got after the quarterback and had playmakers all over the field. Now, we give up time off big plays and rarely create chaos or turnovers. What changed, and how do you reverse the tide?

Offense and specials: There's little creativity on the offense and close to no big plays on special teams as you have eliminated the return game. Your teams look so risk-averse on offense. The QB dives on his runs any time the defense gets near him. Why do we look scared of making mistakes and like we are playing not to lose, rather than playing to win?

Have the same talk he has with players that he want to leave the program. Please for the good of the program let's work out a buyout that we can both agree on. You can ride off into the sunset and I can't get to work on turning this program around.

Greg, what are your thoughts on us having the least amount of presnap motion in college football by a wide margin? Do you think there’s any correlation here to us having the historically worst red zone percentage in CFB and our 1-5 conference record, will you address this with Kirk or do you see no problem and continue business as usual?

It is now very simple:

How much NIL $$ do you need to guarantee me that you will have a winning season ?

Keep in mind, in the "old" days, he basically was the de facto defensive coordinator. I think he would answer that question by explaining that the head coaches role has changed so dramatically in recent years that he has to trust other people to handle the coordinator roles. Apparently, he didn't sleep during Purdue week because on top of everything else, he got heavily involved with defensive strategy.

And what about the performance of the defense?

Would your 3 sons have these jobs if their last names aren’t Schiano?

Since you have no understanding of basic analytics as seen by some of your presser comments, how about hiring someone who’s qualified to do that job instead of your son?

What job? Are you suggesting his kid is unqualified to stand next to him and hold the clipboard?

This board has the collective IQ of three pebbles
would be more, except you post here and drag the IQ down to the dumb and dumber level.
Guess you could consider me the dumber, if I expect your dumb butt to understand what I mean :D

This, only I would word it differently to make it more specific.
What are the reasons why next year will be significantly better than this year?

As I pointed out in my thread, it doesn't work that way any more. GS has the same resources to work with as everyone else because everyone is capped at the same level. He can't use that excuse any more. Instead, he has to explain how he will do a better job with the resources he has.

"What can I do to help your program succeed?" That question puts him on the spot to tell her what he thinks would improve things. If she thinks it's unrealistic or unlikely to help, she can tell him that loudly and clearly.

That is absolutely false.
School contributions are capped for revenue distribution to players.
Outside contributions are not.
It is well documented that many other schools do and will spend tens of millions more than Rutgers in football rosters.

When RU is getting stomped by the likes of Oregon and Ohio State, it's a talent and resources problem. Losing to Iowa, Minnesota, Washington, and Illinois is a coaching problem.
