I was working hanging siding. A couple of times, I was hanging by a thread. I'm sure a damn near fell off whenever we recovered that fumble at the end.

I was there with my date from Samford University in Birmingham and she brought two BAMA fans/friends with her. All of us thought this would be an easy BAMA win. I saw State fans and BAMA fans both crying after the game. MSU with happy tears and BAMA with sadness/disbelief tears. I kind of felt as though I had died and gone to Heaven.
There were at least 500K in attendance.

My very first college football game. Buddie from Saint Richards had an alum grampa that took us. Wish I would have realized what I was watching a little more clearly.
I was one of the 400k there. I really was. Showed up not expecting much as USM crushed us earlier in the year. I was at that one too….unfortunately. The days when I went to a lot of games.
