I think someone admitting and apologizing in a race in Maine is slightly different from the second most famous person doing something on stage at a national level and then acting like it didn’t happen (even if it was unintentional). But you do you.

Jack Schlossberg, President John F. Kennedy’s grandson, sparked an avalanche of criticism this week when he announced he will run for the House seat being vacated by retiring Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY).
Schlossberg has long been a prominent figure on the left, but is perhaps best known for his wild antics on social media. His campaign launch included several video clips, a list of 12 ways he plans to serve his constituents in NY-12, and a slogan, “Jack for NY” – all of which quickly found critics.
The New York Post quickly put out an article listing Schlossberg’s more bonkers social media history. The article noted, “The 32-year-old former Vogue political correspondent — who has more than 1.7 million followers across X, Instagram and TikTok — also has a history of crude and bizarre rants ranging from mocking his cousin RFK Jr.’s spasmodic dysphonia to posting a recipe that calls for ‘Jew blood.’”
Progressive political media strategist Maya Luna torched Schlossberg’s campaign website rollout. “Great branding, cute and sticky catch phrase. Horrible execution lmfao. Creativity? Courage? Youre trying to go to Congress not NYU.” Democratic operative Jonah Allon quipped back, “look i like Jack’s stance on courage but he’s a little too moderate on creativity for my taste.”
Other pundits were quick to mock Schlossberg’s generic campaign promises. “I’m sure Jack Schlossberg is a nice guy & is certainly social media savvy, I just don’t know if a millionaire political dynasty establishment envoy with a quirky persona but no specific policy stances really meets the moment & this middle school essay *** platform isn’t helping,” wrote writer and influencer GL DiVittorio.
Jack Schlossberg, a Kennedy family scion and Democratic primary candidate for New York’s 12th Congressional District, performed a Nazi salute in a since-deleted Instagram video reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon.
"Yo, yo, check this out," Schlossberg said repeatedly into the camera as he performed the salute multiple times.
Schlossberg posted the video—since scrubbed from his social media—in January, likely intending to mock Elon Musk. The billionaire was the subject of controversy that same month when critics accused him of making a Nazi salute while telling an audience, "My heart goes out to you" during a rally celebrating President Donald Trump’s return to the White House.
Schlossberg’s social media activity has already caused a stir this week. The Free Beacon reported on Wednesday that Schlossberg, whose father is Jewish, had posted musings about producing "Jew Blood" and ***** for a "MAHA energy ball." The post appeared to mock Schlossberg’s mother’s cousin, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and comments the secretary of health and human services made in 2023 suggesting COVID-19 may have been "ethnically targeted" to spare Ashkenazi Jews.
I read hundreds when I was getting my history degree at Clemson, and I wrote more than a couple dozen research papers in it. They are literal Nazis.
