8A Bracket after Sandburg defeats LWE

Maine South’s the most underrated team in 8a, maybe in the whole state

Theyre everyone's top 5

I am hoping that in true IHSA brilliance that Maine South gets moved to the same side of the bracket as

MC
Loyola
LWE

it woukd only make sense to have all of them play each other prior to the finals

with that said, MC playing Loyola 2 weeks in a row is something that nightmares are made of

We were just hoping for five wins.

You get five wins rolling out of bed each year playing the CSL South

Thank you my friend! When will you be covering us again?

[Topiarydan1]

That would be a very solid 8A field

I think MC tanks tonight on purpose to avoid Loyola next week.

[McCaravan]

We will see how tonight goes but while playing LA twice is never a dream scenario I think people may just have to wrap their head around that LA just isn't that good this year. They will be again but maybe not this year. Marist beat LA twice in a season a few years ago so it has happened

Pretty sure we have our heads wrapped around the state of this year's team
