East Duplin vs Pender

East Duplin is built to stop that double wing offense Pender runs. I think Pender puts up a hard fight but I have to go with the Panthers.
As a Pender graduate I am pulling for PHS but I think ED wins this one going away late.
East Duplin gave up 341 yrds rushing to Trask. I’ve heard Pender defense is a lot better and offense is rolling. The question is which defense will step up and stop the run. That will determine the winner. Would like to hear from some Clinton /Wallace people that have seen both teams play. Should be a good one.
Thinking you have it backwards. Hard to believe East Duplin gave up 340 rushing yards and Trask only scored 6 points.....
Went and looked at the stats from that game and trask did surprisingly have 341 yds rushing but they turned the ball over 4 times and that obviously doesn't help with the points total
Not sure what Trask has to do with anything between Pender & ED. ED is 6-2 and Pender is 8-0. I believe ED is the stronger team but time will tell.
Pender will be a good test for ED. Still think ED wins going away late. WRH probably should have beaten Pender.
Trask turned it over in the red zone against ED 5 times. That's why they only scored 6.
ED had no problems tonight defeating previously undefeated Pender to secure the Conference Championship
