Bjorn all dayI would venture to bet it’s going to be very hard to get both Lewis and Bjorn (not that we won’t). If you had to pick one who would it be?

He did say we “could” get them. And at this point that is a true statement.Whoa, easy big fella. We are a long way from being able to say that. Lewis and Bjorn have not committed. Hope they do, but we have a ways to go.

I choose Lewis any day! Much better teammate, defender and student of the game. Watched Murray play and she only passed the ball 1 time in an entire half - her teammates didn't want to inbound the ball to her. Not sure she could play in a system. Iowa dodged a bullet.Any player we offer we dont get is a big loss. Vienna is an excellent big guard with a terrific fade away jump shot. She's also Megan Gustafson's cousin. If we dont get Bjorn we are going to regret losing Murray. For the record if you actually watch her game footage, I think she is more skilled than Lewis despite the difference in ranking
Bjorn is the real deal - most underrated player in the top 20 for sure. She would be a HUGE get. There are still 4 open spots. Amari Byles is still visiting, and Trinity Jones was rumored to be visiting. Not sure the level of interest from those two however.
After Bjorn and Lewis, I’m not aware of anyone on the radar. Misses on them will most likely mean an active spring in the portal again.
I do not understand why they didn’t offer Averie Lower.
Blacklisted by AIA? With all due respect, you don't know what you're talking about.Bjorn is the real deal - most underrated player in the top 20 for sure. She would be a HUGE get.
As for Lower, my guess is she was blacklisted by All Iowa Attack - no reason why a kid who performed the way she did at Nike Nationals shouldn't have had every midwest P4 offer. High, high ceiling for that kid.
I heard from multiple people that AIA/Jensen tried to hurt her recruitment. ASU got a steal.Bjorn is the real deal - most underrated player in the top 20 for sure. She would be a HUGE get.

Elaborate, please?Blacklisted by AIA? With all due respect, you don't know what you're talking about.
And I’m not buying that Jensen “tried to hurt” her recruitment. That strongly implies deliberate efforts to sabotage a high school kid’s future.Blacklisting is an over the top characterization of that organization based on my interactions with them.
Yeah I can't believe Paris typed that."And I’m not buying that Jensen “tried to hurt” her recruitment. That strongly implies deliberate efforts to sabotage a high school kid’s future."
No chance Jensen did this.
That unravels everything she stands for in Iowa's culture
I assume the other poster was referring to Dickson Jensen, not Jan Jensen. Otherwise, you would be right."And I’m not buying that Jensen “tried to hurt” her recruitment. That strongly implies deliberate efforts to sabotage a high school kid’s future."
No chance Jensen did this.

Possibly referring to AIA coach Dickson Jensen and not Iowa coach Jan Jensen?"And I’m not buying that Jensen “tried to hurt” her recruitment. That strongly implies deliberate efforts to sabotage a high school kid’s future."

Assume Paris was talking about Dickson Jensen of AIA, not Jan.Yeah I can't believe Paris typed that.
I can now see that, however he knew damn well what he was doing by just saying Jensen. A real jerk move.Assume Paris was talking about Dickson Jensen of AIA, not Jan.
NOOOOO!! Dickson Jensen!! Pretty sure that's the AIA owner. And yeah, I heard from multiple people he was pissed when Lower went to North Tartan. I have been around high school basketball for decades and there is a lot of negative about that guy from people who have had kids go through that program. Is it a great program he built? Absolutely! But not once have I ever heard someone say anything in the realm of "He's a nice guy." It's always 180 degrees opposite of that. So do I believe he would bad mouth a kid who left his program to college coaches? A top 60 kid? Yes I do."And I’m not buying that Jensen “tried to hurt” her recruitment. Not Jan - AIA"And I’m not buying that Jensen “tried to hurt” her recruitment. That strongly implies deliberate efforts to sabotage a high school kid’s future."

Ask Levin or Divine (from Davenport North - now LSU) if he tried to kill their recruiting when they left Attack - I've heard lots of stories. Levine was already committed and Divine was too high of recruit to damage. I feel bad for girls from Iowa in that program - they're stuck.NOOOOO!! Dickson Jensen!! Pretty sure that's the AIA owner. Are you saying he DID try to hurt their recruiting or not? Sorry but I am reading this two ways.Ask Levin or Divine (from Davenport North - now LSU) if he tried to kill their recruiting when they left Attack - I've heard lots of stories. Pretty clear he is saying he did try to damage their recruiting. Are you saying he DID try to hurt their recruiting or not? Sorry but I am reading this two ways.I can verify with one of Divine's coaches.
Thanks. I wasn't 100% on that one. Again, not surprised at all.Pretty clear he is saying he did trying damage their recruiting.
Probably a lot of hubris and vindictiveness. His thinking these kids aren’t good enough can’t hack it. The issue is long run this won’t work.I don't understand the motivation behind that. Wouldn't he want his players to go to the best options available? That would be a selling point for future prospects to come play with him
Talia no doubt has sources and connections but your so called confiable (reliable) prediction she places at 60%. Hardly a resounding level of confidence. Bjorn has several visits left to previously projected leaders for her commitment. I hope Talia is right but we have a ways to go with Bjorn."Lewis and Bjorn have not committed." Thank you for the unsolicited information. If you hadn't told us, no one would have known about it.
my coment was: “This is a much confiable PREDICTION”. and “It's so good to THINK that Iowa COULD get the top 2026 recruiting class”
Maybe you didn't understand the meaning of some words in my comment. I'm just happy with the prediction and trends from a reliable insider e with the future possibilities.
If that bothers you, I'm sorry for you.
Some players don’t want to play for coaches who swear AT them or insinuate they are fat.Probably a lot of hubris and vindictiveness. His thinking these kids aren’t good enough can’t hack it. The issue is long run this won’t work.
I misunderstood this question. I took it as who did you think would commit first of the two if we was to get one. And I thought it would be Lewis. As my first wish list it would be Bjorn for sure. But I do believe Lewis would be a better fit for the team, but I think Bjorn is too freaking good to pass up for anybody.I would venture to bet it’s going to be very hard to get both Lewis and Bjorn (not that we won’t). If you had to pick one who would it be?
As expected, Addison Medeck picked up an offer from Iowa on her weekend visit.
Love how Stremlow plays also. Affolter joined the Iowa coaching staff earlier this year.Affolter gone, but Stremlow is here.
Back in the day recruiting was about relationships(and secret money).. now it’s about relationships and open money.A question with perhaps no obvious answer..we are looking at two recruits...Jenica and Addison...Slim and other recruiting gurus have differing opinions on Iowa's chances. There are 23 recruits in the ESPN top 100 who have yet to commit. Is Iowa looking at any other recruits for the upcoming year ( in otherwords, possible surprises) or will they bank the 3 open spots and hope to fill them with portal targets. That just seems like a lot of portal targets and positions to fill. It also appears to me, that outsiders might feel that Iowa has failed to secure commitments the traditional way. Without question, McKenna (if 100% healthy) will be outstanding.
