SEC has 10 teams 5-2 or better..all are ranked in top 25.
BIG has 11 teams 5-2 or better...5 are ranked.
Is the SEC really that much better a league?
ACC winless FSU hammered #4 bama.
Is it basically all about recruiting ratings for voters in preseason, then self- fulfilling?
TBF All of the Big Ten's 7-0 and 6-1 teams are ranked (3) and all of the SEC's 7-0 and 6-1 teams are ranked (7). Of the 5-2 teams: SEC has 3 of 3 ranked and Big ten has 2 of 8 teams are ranked. That doesn't seem far off from what it should be, imo.
You could prob make an argument for USC to be in and Iowa, Minnesota and Nebraska aren't far out of the top 25 imo, but none of the unranked B1G teams really show that they belong yet.
Tennessee and LSU just took huge hits this weekend. LSU's top 10 win doesn't look great anymore, they have 2 straight ranked opponents coming up so they will prob robably drop out soon.
Texas has a double digit point win against a top 10 team, and only a 7 point loss at Ohio State. They should definitely be in.
