Barely beat Kentucky. 12/27 for 132 yds. Me and my dad saw this a couple years ago and predicted he'd be average at best. Anyone have any info on his level of competition? It literally looks like the Manning's paid the other team to not touch him. I don't want to rag on the kid but I just don't see greatness like the SEC media predicted. Never did either.

I've been pulling for him.

Archie, the grand patriarch, I always thought was super, both on and off the field.

To have his quarterbacking legacy extended to a third generation is just a great story. This is a Royal Family I can get behind.

Most recruiting services had him as 5* because "Manning". He played 2A ball in Louisiana and some services had him as a 3*.
If his name were Billy Smith, he'd be playing DIII ball somewhere. He's such a poor QB, I'm surprised he's not at Iowa.

Anybody who thinks sports is any more fair than life in general doesn't know sports.

The guy that runs the elite 11 was on a podcast weeks ago. Said he would have been benched if his name was Lanning. He said that after 5 games IIRC.
