NW, Minn, Iowa, UCLA/PSU interchangeable until I know more about PSU interim, then USC

Nebraska can struggle with those last 3 even if those teams are struggling by then, if only for their athleticism.

PSU plays Iowa, Ohio State and Indiana the next 3 games. That will be petty telling on how much fight is left in that team by the time the Huskers travel to Happy Valley.

I would be happy if we could win at least 4 of 6.
Unfortunately, we have played probably 5 of the six lowest caliber teams on our schedule already, based on NW and UCLA looking much better now, so I’d be happy with 3 wins to put us at 8.
IMO Friday is a must win

I had 8-4 as my minimum record to keep things on track. Assumed losses were Mich, PSU, USC, and either Iowa/Minn. That would be 3-3 from here. Stills feels right for minimum expectations, although I hope for more.

Article says NW, PSU (ouch!), UCLA, MN, Iowa and USC, least to most difficult. I'm going with NW, MN, Iowa, UCLA, PSU and USC.
Ranking Nebraska Football's Remaining Games by Difficulty
I think you're spot-on with your version. The cool thing is that if we take care of business the next two weeks (ie the easiest games) we will have some serious momentum going into the more difficult stretch. We haven't seen a confident Nebraska team on a roll heading into November in a long damn time.

UCLA and Penn State are wildcards. At this point I would put UCLA on the road as the second toughest game, maybe tied with Iowa for #2. PSU I have no idea.

I would be very happy to split the last six games and go 8-4 and say it was a great year of improvement. I'm still trying to understand UCLA and what the heck is going on with them, are they really that good or will they run out of gas? we'll find out soon enough. 8 regular season wins then a decent bowl win gets you a 9 win season, not bad.

No. 9 plus a bowl win. Improvement plus tremendous momentum into off season. Better yet let's go 11-1 and playoffs.

Have you all seen QB2 for Penn St? Franklin left the cupboard bare.

...Franklin did a really classy thing for their #2 last year (Prebia)??? SP??? He was honest with him about who the starter was going to be and encouraged him to transfer within the window, which left him without a legit #2.... if he wanted a chance to start...

Ranking the schedule seems like a shot in the dark at this point. Two of our opponents have done a complete 180 in just two weeks seemingly out of nowhere? Is there something that I missed that caused Penn State to collapse and UCLA to all of a sudden look formidable? Was Penn State exposed as a fraud they truly are or were those losses the the result of fluke circumstances? They nearly beat a top 5 opponent three weeks ago. Did UCLA make tangible changes that will carry through the rest of the season or did they happen to catch lightning in a bottle? That team was an absolute mess the first four weeks of the year. Someone who follows those teams closer than I do might have the answers. And how good Northwestern is sort of depends on those answers.

All I know is I'd rank @Minn, Iowa and USC in order from easiest to toughest without question. Where UCLA, Northwestern and Penn State fit in is a total guess.

8-4 would be really poor given where we are. 9-3 should be expected. 10-2 would be really good. 11-1 would be the **** in my pants guy.

PSU lost their HC, starting QB, and hopes/dreams for the season. UCLA lost an incompetent HC and gained cohesiveness, focus, and hopes/dreams for the season.

It will be interesting if UCLA can continue the offensive success of the last 2 games. At some point there will be enough game film to make adjustments
They get Maryland at home this Saturday and play at Indiana the next week those two will be a telling tale.

This game tomorrow is the most consequential game of the year for Nebraska. It will prove Nebraska has resolve and commitment to Rhule, coaches and the fan's of the program. Nebraska wins this game tomorrow and we could see a special season, lose tomorrow and it would be a big set back and I'm not sure Nebraska could recover entirely from this year. For the love of everything that is good and dear to the faithful of Nebraska please don't let us down Huskers do your jobs to the fullest and slay one more of the demons that have been tormenting this program for years.

If Penn state is a fraud so is Oregon since they had a shot to beat them . I feel like they lost that game and lost hope in themselves.

I guarantee that even if NU crushes Minny cHUCK003 will give us a drunken missive that Minny sucked and Rhule clubs baby seals in his back yard.
