Has happened for me every now and then on the app. Usually I just refresh the page and it goes back but still annoying.
This platform is very clunky and no where near as user friendly as I had hoped.
I'm old school and use the website vs app. I use the "back" key to leave an article or the boards and return to the IC home page. About 40% of the time, it takes me all the way back to a Google search page, then I have to go back into IC. That never happened on the old site.
On the previous site I never had any problems with podcasts. With the new site I cannot listen to an entire podcast before I am logged off. I need assistance!!
Please let us know how you are listening to podcasts so we can provide troubleshooting specific to the platform - be it podcast app, the IC app, in-article, etc.
With this platform (and the prior one) it responds best when using its own navigational tools - try using the breadcrumbs that are atop and below the threads ... or in the app, using the app tools.
Please provide specifics so we can speak to them. It takes a bit to get used to but after heavy use for a week ago it has become second nature for us. This platform has a lot of helpful tools and shortcuts.
I'm much more used to it, now, after heavy use. I use the app, but mostly the website during the day. Any update on the change to get the menu consistent on every page (Forums, News Feed) and to combine Alerts with News Feed?
Is this in the app or the mobile browser?
For the mobile browser, it's usually tied to the settings.
if it's Safari on an iPhone, try these steps ...
1) Cookies. Go to Settings -> Safari -> scroll down to Privacy and Security, make sure “Prevent Cross-Site Tracking” is NOT enabled.
2) Go to Settings -> Safari -> scroll all the way to the bottom and click Advanced -> make sure “Block All Cookies” is NOT enabled.
3) Browser Mode. Open your Safari browser, click the two overlapping squares in the bottom right corner, and check to make sure you are not in Private browsing mode in the footer.
If it's a different browser/phone, let me know which one and I can get those steps.
I began having the same issue with my month-old iphone 17 this weekend. The issue is within the app; not a mobile browser.
9:00PM update: Still happening about every five minutes on the iOS mobile app tonight.

Can you try signing in a different way? I think this login loop is tied to using the sign in screen on the center screen as opposed to the account/menu options in the corner. If you see that, too, we can ticket it.
@BenSherman I’m getting logged off occasionally while scrolling mostly on the forums. No trouble logging back in but it’s a pain in the butt. I’m using an IPad mostly. Can you advise?
