Changing Posting Name

I'm struggling to get my name to change for my posts. Can someone walk me through it like I'm a 1st grader?

I've gone to settings and changed my username, but nothing changes with it.

As far as I remember, I did the same thing of going to settings >> profile >> username.
Did you click Save Changes at the bottom? (Green button)

If you click your little profile icon in the top right, do you see your username?
