Believe it or not, not every school puts an emphasis on football plus they also have Ottawa Marquette in town who has a history of being successful.
Since 2010 Ottawa is 44-93 with 3 playoff appearences
Marquette in same time span is 113-44 with 12 appearences.
Not much to say. Morris did what they needed to do. Nothing fancy, now just got to get ready for Sycamore next week to lock up the conference title.

Ottawa has a ton of talent on this team and it has not helped them that 5 or 6 of their better contributors including QB 1 are out for the season. I have said this to a lot of people that this Ottawa program lack of success the last decade or so 100% solely rests on the lack of coaching skill that they have. These coaches are absolutely horrendous and lack any sort of emotion and or in depth knowledge of the game. Gross and company should have hung it up last year and the school should have done a complete overhaul brining in outside coaches!!! And yes Ottawa is more known as a basketball school and several of the better athletes in the school choose not to play football and focus on that
And yes it doesn’t help that Marquette takes a decent amount of th talent pool from Ottawa. But hey they go 6-3 ish and get beat in the second round every year
I’d be willing to bet if Marquette played Ottawa schedule they’d maybe win 1 game but hey they made the playoffs.
He was one of the few I noticed not dressed. No clue what's going on with any of them, just hope it's a situation where they were rested and not seriously hurt.
