I’m an Oregon fan and am wondering the same. I’m excited to go to the ballgame. I’m bringing both my basketball jerseys for each team as I’m bringing all the teams together. Y’all will be a tough opponent. And do with Schiano what Oregon did with Rich Brooks. The man will eventually build you a program that will forever be important to the sport and feel like Kansas does with college basketball.

That sucks. The entire country is going to see Oregon bludgeon our sad incompetent team.

A 6:30 or 7pm kick means either peacock, big ten network or FS1. There will be so many other games at that time people will be watching, thankfully,

I know you're trying to be kind, but come on. "Tough Opponent"? If you watched today's game, you know that's not going to be the case. The only way you don't score 60 is if your coach takes mercy.

Peacock would be great. It will make sure the country does not see Kaj Sanders and Jakobi Henderson get lit up like Christmas trees.

Yes another national embarrassment pending. And our only opportunity to score will be another botched FG.

With the way Oregon is playing, they will be on national television every change they get imo.

Honestly, getting smoked in a prime-time slot might be the best thing, long-term, for those of us who aren't sold on Greg
Keli doesn't seem like she's playing around - she wants to win, and getting hammered in front of the whole country might be the wake up call for her to do something

Yes, I know GS has a big buyout
And yes, I know we're lagging behind, facilities and NIL wise
But I'm sick of getting mediocre results

I think the solution might be getting rid of YOU and your ilk. Let's see the record.. many whiners were here and we were losers and at best mediocre from time to time before GS. But even with GS and some winning and bowl games the whiners remained. Then GS leaves and we return to loser status and whiners are still here. Then GS returns and brings us back to bowl games and teh whiners seem to get louder.

I think the problem might be the whiners.

(yes, this is satire.. but what do you think it means? I'll give you a hint. Maybe teh problem is our name.. Scarlet Knights.. or maybe its the color Scarlet.. etc etc)

I'm not good with mediocrity
If you're ok with it, that's on you

Pinstripe Bowls aren't the goal
Championships are

FTR, those are Greg's words
And we aren't anywhere close that level

If you are not good with mediocrity, why the hell are you here?

You are not a fan. You get your laughs, as lame as they are, by complaining. You are obviously very good with mediocrity... you live for it.

Go hang on the FSU board.

Not gonna happen anytime soon. Not this year, and probably not next, unless next year is an epic disaster.

I want to win - plain and simple
I don't find it amusing, entertaining or acceptable when, in year 6 of GS 2.0, we're still going to Mid-tier bowls and other programs are passing us by

Hopefully w/the hiring of Zinn, things will start looking up (hello NIL) and we can get to the upper echelon of the B1G sooner rather than later

Nothing makes large gatherings of RU fans scatter quicker than asking for money.

we are not getting rid until he's close to contract expiration. we simply don't have the money and the new regime needs a footing to do so.

we are going to get smoked and embarrassed in Ash like fashion imho

So let's take your professed attitude about winning to its absurd and yet logical conclusion... if a coach doesn't bring you to the CFP or Final Four.. can him because you demand "winning".

If his best-trained players get poached with NIL riches by some other team.. doesn't matter.. those are excuses.. win or get fired.

If there are injuries that affect season expectations.. too bad.. win or leave.

If his contract requires a large payout that the program would be hard to swallow while also hiring a replacement.. too bad.. win or he's out.

If he has been the only coach in X number of coaching hires to bring us to bowl games or the NCAA tourney... not good enough.. win every year or goodbye.

you "want to win - plain and simple"...

I repeat.. this may not be the program for you. You don't have the heart for it. You demand that every other fan pay up so you can play coach roulette to find a "real winner" so that, one day, Rutgers athletics may live up to your standards, so you can brag or something that it all happened because you demanded winning.

You sound like a front-runner fan.. just go root for your flavor of the day.

Again, we're in year freakin 6 of GS 2.0
Last year we had a golden opportunity and squandered it

Easy schedule, good talent, and we got what... the Arizona Bowl vs. KSU
Injuries, NIL, etc. don't excuse the Illinois game - or various other instances of 2.0 not evolving

In case you missed it, and in this instance, it certainly appears you have, this is a win or go home type business
We haven't won - and, with GS at the helm, our ceiling is 8 wins per year on a consistent basis, and that's being extremely generous

If that's good enough for you, awesome
For me, and other like-minded people that realize the vast potential of this program, that's not acceptable long term

And for ***** sake, stop telling people to not be fans of teams b/c they expect excellence
That's straight up loser **** - people who are ok w/mediocrity think like that
Never in my life have I, or will I, have that type of pathetic, defeatist, embarrassing mindset

I'm not demanding anyone pay up for anything
People can do what they want w/their money
I pay b/c I want to win
Winning's fun. It's addictive. And it's something I enjoy, which is why I donate

Again, if you're ok with us getting our **** kicked in, rock on
It's not how I operate, and can't ever imagine being cool with that stufff

I like the way you position your views however, you sound like a loser as this post is indicative of someone's view that accepts the status quo. Somewhere along the way, your ancestors had the balls to cross the Atlantic because the rejected the status quo so what happened to you? Maybe, just maybe it's you and people like you that should go away. In every competitive endeavor known to man, the object is to win. You simply can't have it both ways; mediocrity is acceptable vs just win baby
I prefer the 'just win baby' crowd as those cats are generally going places more often than not

Greg himself has said he plays not to make mistakes, the ball is the program, there is more to winning than just the scoreboard in each game. That is not a 'just win baby' attitude by any stretch
Fans like yourself don't seem to demand accountability for a program that is behind it's peer group looks to be falling further in the foreseeable future.

so before you tell people they are not fans and should leave, maybe it's you who should?

just a thought
