Thinking their 5 star wasn’t yet ready for the moment as he doesn’t turn 18 until September 21st. Will be interesting to see how Salter accepts his role as a backup.

Honestly i didn't inow he was that young...i mean i knew he was a tru frosh, but that makes sense.

Before I make too much fun of Deion, I will hold opinions. He has already done better than I ever gave him a chance to at sCUm.

I still do not like him or his style. Colorado will remain one of my least respected teams we ever played against.

He may be right chosing this guy, but he and CU suck for eternity as far as I am hoping, and feel!

They had all 3 play two series against Delaware. I think they scored once with Salter, twice with Staub, and not at all with Lewis. Staub then finished the game.

I just hope for Colorado and Sanders to fail because it is Colorado, and because of all the posters on here saying Alberts should have hired Sanders because his team beat Rhule in year 1.

Staub has a low ceiling but he’s actually pretty good. Definitely a backup on a top 25 or even top 40 team, but a good backup.

Deion picking a starter based on merit instead of hype is a pleasant surprise, to be honest.

Hopefully Houston will beat the buffs, always love to see their putrid fan base whine and cry.

i continue to wonder about prime's future. the guy is dealing with bladder cancer, or the aftereffects of bladder surgery which means he is likely carrying a urine bag. how one effectively coaches a team in that mental and physical situation is beyond me.

Deion had the more elaborate surgery where they built him a new bladder out of small intestine tissue. I'm sure that also comes with its own complications, but he's not using a bag.

Sounds like more health issues for Deion. His chances don’t seem great that he finishes the season on the sideline.

He found his out. He'll be back on the NFL Network and will be having zero issues with his legs. The False Prophet looking for the easy way out.

Hard to take people like Deion serious. So much drama and attention seeking. Wasn't he supposed to lose the leg 2 years ago.? I told people then it was drama.
