We can handle starters. It’s the backups that scare me.
Is there another fanbase that roots so hard for teams they beat or played to prove their worthiness other than Husker fans?
So far, Cincinatti is changing my mind about Nebraska's win over them.
They have a really tough final 5 games
8-4 or so is probably where they’ll end up
fine season for a rebuilding program

I don’t think a lot of the doubters want Rhule to fail. It’s just yet to be seen from him and we are once bitten twice shy. It’s nice to see he has a quality win under him. But we’d love to admit we were wrong
now on the flip side, the fans that think Matt’s the second coming will never admit Rhule has issues or acknowledge criticism
You don't see the difference? Iowa/Iowa St obviously hate each other and would never root for the other. Now, let's see, are Nebraska and Cincy mortal in-state hated rivals? No? Okay, seems pretty self explanatory. There is ZERO wrong with being interested in seeing a prior opponent do well as a measuring stick of who we've beaten. Every single fanbase in football does it all the time. I'll let you get back to acting superior to everyone else.
The problem is that no one will accept the muddy grey area. Everything has to be absolute. I feel like this spills over from our political views. Why can’t we just accept that we don’t know for sure if we are a good team or not and enjoy the process of figuring it out without having to be right about everything?
