Good!

She made it clear in her exit interview that she'll be looking for chances to play 5 on 5 to prepare for her team USA responsibilities, and to get ready for next season. She has no interest in playing 3 on 3....

[mpfeiler]

She will not play in the 3 on 3 league unless told to by her sponsors. She does not need the extra cash. She just needs to get her body healthy again.

I am just curious where she would find chances to play 5 on 5.

Honestly, Im not sure. It sounded like she wasn't either, but that was her comment.

Good. That league is even more of a joke than the WNBA she’s forced to play in.

There are Women’s World Cup qualifiers for a week next March. Presumably the US would practice for a couple of weeks before that. Even though the US has already qualified for the World Cup, the US would participate in the qualifier per the linked article. The actual World Cup is in early September 2026; don’t know what if anything the W does to accommodate that.

Istanbul, Türkiye; Lyon-Villeurbanne, France; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Wuhan, China are the four hosts of the Women's World Cup 2026 Qualifying Tournaments set for March 2026.

Thanks for adding that. It gives some context to her comment. I heard her say something about playing in France I think, and her team USA responcibilities but wasn't sure just what she was getting at. I know she plans to be involved with team USA in order to be in line for the next Olympics.

Rucker Park…or…better yet…come to Iowa City and lead the gray squad for a few weeks
