Yep, he should be blackballed for life. Doesn’t matter that the accusations were not true. Just being accused of something is reason enough.
I get the vibe Fitzgerald ends up on the new coaching staff one way or the other. Have no clue what direction Beth will go when it comes to the head coaching position. But Fitzgerald seems a very realistic candidate for the defensive coordinator position especially if we hire in house.
How bout the fact that he's not that great. His last 4 years at NW he went 14-31
He is my top choice. I still have been told it's Fitz.. but they don't want to lose Wallace or Levar
I like Levar in the CEO role as well. If he doesn't get the head coach position I think he moves on. He got passed over once promoting Wallace to assistant head coach.
Wallace seems a wild card if we hire Fitzgerald. Wallace I think would get opportunities elsewhere. Also hard to gauge how he and Fitzgerald would mix.
The last year Fitzy was coach and NW played here I watched him and Seth have a lengthy convo on the field by themselves.
Good info. Lots of possibilities in play when Kirk retires including whether the new head coach wants to keep Lester around or not. Lester might really thrive under a head coach who turns him loose but that awaits naming a head coach and what direction he wants to take things.
True and think this may have come up before. Fitzgerald given his closeness to the program might retain Lester over a complete outsider. But Fitzgerald in my eyes seems somewhat of a longshot for the head coaching position.
