Good win for the Fever. Going back to Vegas will be pretty tough, but they have a chance.

The Fever's effort is always there. Usually, the defense is, too. It's really about the offense. Maybe KM and Lexi will be red hot Tuesday, who knows.

Just curious, where was this Nalyssa Smith last year? Last year, she threw up nothing but prayers and was slow to the basket countless times when she had a clear path following a CC pass.

The Lynx had an awful time holding big leads in this series. In the last three games, the Mercury outscored the Lynx in the 4th quarter 25-17, 21-9, and 31-13.

After Bonner quitting on and leaving the team and after all of the season ending injuries, it really is crazy that the Fever are one of the last 3 teams standing. Will they be one of the last 2 standing? Likely not, but we'll soon find out.

Caitlin Clark -................. Out (right groin)
Sophie Cunningham - Out (right knee)
Damiris Dantas -........... Out (concussion protocol)
Sydney Colson -............ Out (left knee)
Aari McDonald -........... Out (right foot)
Chloe Bibby -................. Out (left knee)

After it became clear caitlin was not coming back anytime soon my interest in the fever waned. Then she announced she was out and my interest in the fever waned even more. I have gotten back into in the playoffs and I so much want Wilson and the aces to lose. Will be watching tonight and hoping for the best!

Regarding the WNBA Commissioner saying Caitlin Clark should be grateful for the WNBA because the league is responsible for her sponsorship deals: that's obviously complete BS. Caitlin earned $11M in 2024 because of HER talent & HER marketability. And a lot of those sponsorship deals were made in college & carried over when she turned pro.

After last season Kathy pointed out that officiating would be addressed in the offseason with more training. Obviously she lied or emphasized to the officials more physicality should be allowed. Any commissioner could have gotten a new tv deal since viewership was through the roof. Kathy didn’t do **** for this league but make it nearly unwatchable.

If only about 12 rich people would start a new league beginning with all the current free agents and after others are done with their obligations they could jump over too... wishful thinking but I'd be all for it;)

Caitlin is so smart for staying out of this.

From the linked ESPN story:

In Collier's remarks, she also alleged that Engelbert told her that Caitlin Clark "should be grateful she makes $16 million off the court, because without the platform that the WNBA gives her, she wouldn't make anything."

The Fever said Clark has no comment about that statement.

Clark's Fever teammate Sophie Cunningham later commented on Instagram, "people only know Cathy because of [Caitlin]... She's the most delusional leader our league has seen. ... AND IT SHOULDN'T EVER BE ABOUT OUR COMMISSIONER IN THE FIRST PLACE."

The criticism toward the league also comes on the backdrop of player frustration with the state of CBA negotiations, as the current agreement is set to expire at the end of October. Chelsea Gray, the Aces' primary player rep, said Tuesday that the status of talks is "not great, not where we thought and wanted to be at this point in time."

As I and others have stated multiple times before, Engelbert is a terribly weak and ineffective Commissioner. The best way for the WNBA to move forward is to remove her ASAP and replace her with someone with an ambitious vision and strong public relations skills.

Collier is doing everyone a favor by going public. That players and coaches are lining up behind her speaks volumes.

The fix is in. not upgrading that to a flagrant was ridiculous and they have let several obvious fouls go. Aja complaining in her presser after game 4 is paying dividends.
