I have it on good authority that Fitz is the next head coach and Ferentz will retire at the end of the year. He had a good although tumultuous run. Probably time for him to hang it up.

whether factual or not it does make a lot of sense given his son enrolled at Iowa, he has not pursued another job, and he has been hanging around the program for a couple of years (so KF could set the win record). Time will tell.
I saw a car with Illinois plates at Pancheros in Iowa City.

Kirk master plan to sucker someone into replacing him as the coach with the most losses in conference history.
Keep Parker and special teams coaches and this would be a huge upgrade. Fitz > Kirk .
