I would like to see more Dayton Howard. He has the receiving ability, and height, and looked to be good a blocking.

Fingers crossed the DBs can step it up! IU has some talent there...

Howard looked good. I think Phillips who he plays behind has played pretty well too. He's fast and he gets open. He's averaging 23 ypc on his 5 receptions for 115 yards which isn't great but leads the team. He did have that one obvious drop at the beginning of the Rutgers game but later that same quarter caught a wide open 25 yard pass to get things going. He caught 3 passes for 75 yards vs UMass.

I agree. I think they should start to look towards Phillips first instead of a #3 read. He might not be tall but he is quick and he gets open. I would also like to see them do some sweeps and/ or screens with Phillips.

It's shocking how many seniors and graduated kids you guys are playing, I count 7 on offense, and 9 on defense, plus your punter and returner. You guys are going to be very young next season.

Our punter is a sophomore.

Been having the best OL recruiting we have had in quite some time.

Always the portal for here and there spots

My fault its the field goal kicker that is a senior. O line take time to develop, and you guys have not been burning it up bringing in portal kids, that can change, but your not Indiana here.

Epenesa on the way on defense. He is learning this year, but he already has the body for it

Vander Zee as well huh? Hasn't played at all, must be hanging on to his redshirt so he can transfer somewhere else and not waste a season.
Didn't mention him or the QB that feigned injury last year before transferring. What could the difference be between RVZ and McNamara, and Jaz, Jacobs, and Johnson? 🤔 Hmm... I got nothin'.

Clone fan surprised when a school actually has athletes that graduate
According to the data base, ISU achieved a 94% graduation rate for their football players last season, and 93% the year before, the squawks were at 88% according to GRS score. Wrong again.

No one on Indiana has been in Kinnick. Will be an eye opener. Last time we played them Penix was their QB

Look towards Phillips 1st on every pass, huh?

That's interesting. Certainly not an offense that I've ever seen employed.

And of course, this suggestion comes from the fanbase that freaks out about "predictability"

Yes.

He did at Rutgers.

And the room is down to Moulton, Washington, and McNeil. Doll is the emergency back.

I can’t wait to see Doll get into the mix. He ran a 10.40 and 21.10 in the 100 and 200 meters at state. He’s considerably faster than DeJean and Wetjen. He’s also faster than Tim Dwight ever was electronically in high school.
