I feel like McDonald was a little more consistent so I'd go with her if the expectation is 9-10 MPG subbing for CC.

I'll fully admit I'm being selfish here, but I'm low-key hoping the Fever don't get the title this year. Because if CC's first ring is from a season where she barely played, it will be used against her the rest of her life. People will say she didn't earn it. I'm happy to see the team has found success, but if they win a chip without CC, the haters will call it a fake ring. Hopefully the team have learned a lot about themselves this year, so they can come back as a strong, cohesive unit for next year.
They will study Caitlin to do everything possible to make her life difficult, like picking her up full court with aggressive man D, but for other players they don’t. What a league.

Doing what? No one else was guarded like Caitlin this year or last, on a game-to-game basis. Other teams should do that if they want to win. They just don't guard other players like that, which is puzzling. Maybe KM is too fast for that to work. Maybe not.

I don't think CC making $11M in 2024 went over too well, to say the least....
She's been out for most of the season. You are right, nobody was guarded like CC full court. But guess what? It is what it is. It's not up to the league to stop doing it. And they've done surprisingly well while she's been sidelined. I'm hoping all of her struggles when she did play this year was due to her injuries and she comes back and dominates. But don't expect her to be guarded any differently.
I didn't say it's up to the league to put a stop to it - I merely pointed out other teams don't guard anyone else in the league like that game in and game out, especially during the regular season. They even guard her like that in preseason games, which makes it even more curious why don't they guard other people like that every night. In any event, I'm not sure why this drew a "we're still doing this come on man" from you.
