Not sure which game you’re watching. It is easy to defend a team when the quarterback is zero threat to run and isn’t effective under pressure. Don’t have a big bruising running back. They will struggle against average opponents.

The problem is Matt Kenneth Rhule. 3rd year and he still can't figure it out. But man o man he is a great speaker. That's what we should look for in a coach. Oh well. Another year and a half of this garbage.
The good thing is USC and Penn State are the only teams left with Michigan type talent. But Nebraska always loses chump games like Iowa.
Leaving the middle of the field wide open and playing man to man with a running QB is just not smart defense.
If they are even halfway decent they should be thinking: I can beat these upperclassmen and can start as a Freshman

Of course we stop them on third down almost every time but in the clutch we give more third downs in one drive then we have all game. Typical anti clutch ****.
Defense really let us down on that drive. If we ever want to be considered “back” we have to make a stop on that drive.
So silly to expect passes at any point in that drive. If he hits one, then good for him.

Not taking the field goal in Q1 was essentially game over. Instead of 7 pt game, it's 10. Missing the other field goal didn't help either. Would've had chance at go ahead score, instead it's a 2 possession deficit.
