We are totally outclassed by a bottom feeder in the BIG. Trust me, the KF era is over. We may be stick with him longer, but it’s over
Defense is *** and the QB can complete a wide open 3 yard pass. Other than that, everything is at least average or slightly below average.
Just think if we had this offense last 3 years of Brian. Makes you even more mad we pissed away elite defensive seasons that or a hint of how many more games we would’ve lost.

I think they’re okay. The defense isn’t as strong as in years past, but the offense is capable of being decent now that Gronowski is settling in.
The problem is the schedule isn’t the Big Ten West, and they just don’t have the horses to compete well. The secondary is not good. At all. TJ Hall has matured and is decent, but everyone else is subpar. The linebackers have also taken a major hit and lack speed.
I will consider this a good year if Iowa wins 6 games.

DBs were burned last night. Part of that is lack of pressure but I have faith in PP. At this point if you don't have faith in him you are an idiot. Mark is settling in. His biggest issue is WRs in 50/50 situations. The scheme can create open WRs and that is great but there are time a WR as to go up and get it....not seeing that yet. Losing a TE for the season hurts but Mark's leadership is showing. I like the guy and the offense is following. I said a few weeks ago that KW needed to get his **** together and deliver.....boy did he deliver last night! Great night for him and very happy for him. The talent is there, no doubt.
That was a good road win.....any road win in the BT is a good win. Proud of the boys. Rutger is a bowl team. Really good QB and a really good coach. I can see them winning 7 or 8 games for sure.
I will say this....Phil needs to have the Defense eating nails this week in practice before Indiana. Crowd needs to be a factor. Looking forward to it.

What part of my post led you to believe I don’t have faith in Phil Parker? He’s a fantastic coach, but there is just a serious lack of talent in the secondary.
Given the schedule, yes, I think 6-6 would be successful.

I agree however that the time has come for some young blood in the program.
I'm appreciative of KF and his contribution to the program but no one lasts forever and its time to look forward.
