He kinda plays, moves, and has mannerisms just like young Jeff.
More than Reed too. Not comparing the games of the two. Just the look of it.
And I'm talking specifically about young Jeff. Who was a little skittish and always looked like he was gonna pass out from hyperventilating right before he tries to dunk on a center.
Ans his three-point shooting was outstanding late last season. Curious to see how good he is as a sophomore.
As a Jr, he will start and start for us...or somewhere else. No shot that kid is coming off the bench as a Jr
That's where I am too. I'm anxious to see if he picks up where he left off and improves all facets of his game. He could be very good for us this season.
Passing is such an instinctual thing and it's clear that Chandler has the gift of seeing the play developing sooner than most. Excited to see how this kid continues to grow.
Now, will he start this year? I don't think so but I wouldn't necessarily rule it out either. Super sixth man is probably his role this year but the sky is the limit for him.

That dunk was quite nasty! Looked like it was over Moreno! Anyway, I look for Chandler to breakout this season! Man, are we ever DEEP! Good Lord!
Yeah I would have lost a lot of money betting that Reed would never put on an Arkansas jersey.
Chandler is bigger and stronger. Shep was super quick and played like the energizer bunny.
Colin is two years behind on his development too. He’s really going to improve fast imo. He will be a great player here. I expect a really good year and then ALL-SEC potential in 2026-2027.
IMO he is the key to this years team. Exsplosive athlete, but must shoot well for us to have a special year.
This is where I am with Chandler too. I think he is smart and sees the entire court. He might be one of those guys you can describe as a coach on the floor type of player. I'm pretty excited to see how he does after getting back to playing last year after a couple of years off and now having played in Pope's system for a year. He could be very valuable this season.
Late last season, Chandler was looking like one of those players that doesn't do anything great, but does everything well. The type that at the end of a game may have 8 pts, 4 reb, 3 ast, 2 st, 1 blk,
I hope it's hard to keep him off the floor. I think he could play the 3 in small ball if O gets into foul trouble or has to miss a game or 2. Or if any number of other situations crop up as they usually do.
He can obviously play the guard positions.
We just have so many options. Incredible talent on this roster.

I’m not as high on him as most. He did seem to gain some swagger, shoot the ball better and didn’t get lost on defense.
He also came from playing pretty badly and being targeted on defense. Several teams went at him and Perry as soon as they entered the game. Teams quit doing that to Chandler. He defended well enough to make them stop.
Im in wait and see mode. He made good strides as he knocked the rust off. He still needs a lot of improvement to become a solid SEC player. I’m hoping you guys are correct and he continues to improve.

I don’t know if you knew this, but Chandler took a full year off from basketball to go on a Mormon mission.
Just the way I see it. I know people don’t like a different POV. I’m concerned about the whole team till I see it. Nothing is a given. OWEH is the only person on the team we are sure is a SEC caliber starter.
Chandler was not playing good enough at the end of the year to be an SEC starter. Will he improve??

I think two years on his mission. What I liked best about Chandler, was his confidence. He will be a really good player for Coach Pope and Kentucky.
He had some range on that three all so.

He made good progress. I said that.

He got turned sideways a lot on defense as guys got by him. Always seemed to be a shoulder behind as his man drove to the basket.
Coach Pope has said he has worked on his ball handling and drive by moves. That's good, but his on ball defense has to make a quantum leap. I think he will get in games in the first half and continue to improve as he did later in the season last year. Missing two (I think) years means he needs time on the floor.

I don’t know if you guys know this or not but he took some time off before college to go do missionary stuff.
I think we're an injury away from Chandler starting. His defense and shooting and IQ are just great.
Lowe and Oweh have both been banged up this off-season. Could be a chance for CC to really shine if either of those two go down in the regular season.
His defense was night and day better by the end of last year. He will continue to improve there. He has all the tools needed to be a solid defender.

Pretty much where I'm at on him. I don't expect a HUGE jump, but will surely be happy if it materializes that way.
If JQ gets fully healthy and is the rim protector that he's touted to be, then everyone's on ball defense will get "better".
That’s pretty much where I’m at. RR has a tendency to over expect from players. Ill be ecstatic if he can deliver what half of the fans expect.
He was unplayable most of the year but played out of necessity. He shot poorly and had zero handle.
By the end he started hitting shots but just got embarrassed in the sec tournament trying to handle the ball.
Hopefully he spent all offseason on that handle.
Chandler's rise took place when he was thrust into the role of PG mid-SEC play in the midst of all the injuries mounting up, and gained valuable experience to build on for this season. He was pulling up from Curry range against Illinois in the 2nd Round. Seeing how much he progressed this past season has me excited for where his game might jump to as a sophomore.
Disagree. I would say JQ, Aberdeen and Mo D are all high quality players. Most definitely SEC starter quality, without question. JMO.
I don’t see this at all. He was one of our best on ball defenders at the tail end of last season. Not sure what some people were watching.
