Any scouting updates on Quincy Douby, Jr.?

Kid is 6’3” rising junior. Has not excelled as yet on the court during his first two years in a respected program. It’s make or break it year where he would need to make a leap to get into double figure scoring with a higher efficiency.

He only has three offers at the moment, a lot of that is interest. However he is a top 80 ranked recruit and will get a lot more offers.

Then why is RU not interested? He’s a “legacy”, top 80 and still not on our radar?

Sometimes a school’s expressed lack of interest is because the recruit has also expressed same. We weren‘t interested in Arch Manning or Zion Williamson. Higher level recruits but same concept.

I can assure you Douby wanted Rutgers, and it was Rutgers who had no interest in him.

Ok, fair enough. Only made the point that sometimes interest needs to be mutual for offers to be made. Private rejection is better than public.
