He's much better than Ryan was coming out of HS and it's not really close imo. Bowen hustled and was fairly quick but lacked technical skills at the same age.

They totally could, in fact, McCollums best teams played 3 forwards at once. Ethan Harris recently said Mac has 3 positions. True center, point guard, hybrid. All of these guys can guard 2,3 and 4 positions.
Fran couldn't coach defense or a hire one that did, so it didn't matter who he got. It took the uni too long to figure that out.
