I hope Bud is in that Husker locker room Saturday looking in the eyes of every one of the players telling them that he never backed down and that they better not back down or they will have to answer to him. I'm kidding of course kind of but I hope he can be there for this important moment in our season telling our players what courage is all about.

I thought I got one of those calls after I put $50 on the husker money line vs Michigan.
Turns out it was my uncle … wanting extra Casey’s pizza from my wife is she could do him a solid. Turns out he doesn’t love the bet, so now I’m conflicted.
I guess what I’m saying … basically we’re all the same.

I actually have to admit, I inadvertently lied…I didn’t have eighth row seat, they were actually 18 rows up. I misunderstood my client. I actually think they were better as they weren’t on the flat, but headed up the incline/bleachers, which made for a great view.
On a sidenote, Max Kellerman has one of the most punishable faces in all of sports…and after hearing his commentary once returning to the hotel, I should’ve followed through on that instinct. But alas, I’ve spent two nights in Vegas jails on two separate occasions in my youth…and that’s probably adequate.
Only thing possible worse than Kellerman was the almost constant mariachi music pre-fight…wtf?

Probably would have had 80 million viewers if they started an hour earlier. My kids wanted to watch it and my wife fell asleep. They always talk about how boxing went from mainstream to fringe, well don't start a huge fight at 1 am eastern time then.
I absolutely agree! Actually there's not a sport in the world I'd stay up until 1am to watch.
