I’m very impressed by both Duff and Strong’s ability to catch the ball. They are both very big WRs who are athletic. The thing that separates them are their hands. The ability to snatch the ball away from their body. Their hands are similar to Sanu and that is saying something.

Duff:

Thomas III:

Both outstanding, no doubt.
And nice grab by Dino Kaliakmanis, holding on to the ball with ball fighting

Both outstanding catches in their own way. Duff one hand catch was borderline not a catch. Thomas III catch was NFL level good.

WR room is stacked.

It will be down played due to the opponent, but the duff catch is up there with sanus catches (crazy that there are too many to point out) as greatest catches I've ever seen from an RU receiver.
Thomas III is s true freshman. His presence of mind to get his hand down was very impressive.

I set this thread up as a poll and it somehow failed.

Yes, but the question was the Thomas III and Duff catches yesterday. We may be without Strong for a while.

Both were great catches but Duff's catch was better because once he had control he still had to get down inbounds and did so barely with the heel of his foot while falling backwards.
