Special teams getting a punt blocked was not on my list but it made me the most angry along with the drops...

I honestly have only seen the highlights - who were the WRs with the dropsies? Usual suspects? How did we not gash their defense for at least one 100 Yard rushing RB?! Tia

Running backs were going by committee. Nobody really got a chance to go on their own. If one back got the majority of the carries then it would have been a 150+ outting.

I am trying to remember off the top of my head but Parker had 2 drops and Anderson had 2 drops. The 3rd TE Van.... (I can never remember his name) had one

Parker 2 hand spiked a pass into the turf. I wouldn't even say that was a drop, you have to try to do that.

I believe there were 3 true drops in the game. KJ Parker dropped a pass that was high but catchable. Seth Anderson dropped a ball that was high and on the wobbly side but catchable. It was probably the most catchable of the 3 drops. VonHamme missed a hot pass over the middle that he had to stretch out for. The receivers all got hands on these passes which you could argue should have been caught.

Something that was interesting to me was that it was obvious that adjustments were made with MG because wheras the vast majority of his ball placements (complete and misses) were really low in the first two games, it was the complete opposite yesterday with most of the passes coming in high. Makes you wonder if this is something with Mark or the staff. Did they previously pound into him some risk averse mentality that if you're going to miss it had better be low/short vs high/long and his response was to overcompensate by throwing a bunch of passes that were low/short. If that were the case and they told him to stop worrying so much about that and just throw, it might explain what looks like a complete reversal on ball placements from previous games.

That ball was high. I don't think he had a firm grip on it when he brought it down resulting in the ball not brought into his body.

234 total passing yards. 179 by Gronowski and 85 by Brown. Hoped to see 300 plus with all three qb’s playing. This team has serious issues with their downfield routes where multiple receivers are in the same area making it easy to defend.

So yeah. Yardage was kind of irrelevant yesterday given the competition, but 120 of that was collected in the 1st quarter when that was the emphasis. After that they were much more run heavy and Wetjen limited opportunities with his crazy day as well.
