With all the roster changes there are plenty reasons for this years team having additional exhibition games..Pre seaason predictions only reinforce the need for more exhibition games to identify offensive and defensive areas that will need improvement.The cupcake games to start the season is too late and might result in a embarrassing loss.

No they're real exhibitions. They were just always termed "secret scrimmages". Because alliteration?

Whatever the case - a public exhibition means there is a final score released. There was no reason for us to set up one of those this year. Nothing good could come of it.

The score will come out from the secret scrimmages. I dont disagree that this isn't the worst thing this season
