The HC likes him so although he's not number 1 yet he will probably gets some reps in this upcoming game.

Is Kyle expected to see action/get some carries tonight?
Johnson used a two headed monster in Detroit, so Kyle might be in a good spot.

"Monangai has really hit a stride there over the course of the spring and camp," Johnson said. "I trust that guy at this point, that's a big thing to say for a young player like that. He tends to do everything right."

Monangai has earned the trust of Johnson and this coaching staff, which speaks volumes and should indicate a healthy dose of touches starting Monday night. While Swift will no doubt carry the workload, Monangai has a chance to carve out a role for himself with Roschon Johnson potentially sidelined.

Bears O has been inept after the 1st drive, but the refs have really screwed the Bears here. 3 or 4 horrible calls against them to extend Vikings drives that lead to a score. Phantom holding, hands to the face and OPI. Every time the broadcasters and ref disagreed with the bad calls. 🗑️

The Bears looked like a hot mess in the second half.

Pretty pathetic overall. Wonder if Ben Johnson isn’t ready to run his own ship. He looked like a deer in the headlights.

Huh? He looked fine and was pissed at how poorly the team played and probably at a bunch of the bad calls. 1 coaching misstep was the Bears last kickoff trying to get it out of the end zone, when you just needed it to be short of the landing zone, and take the 5 yd penalty to preserve the 2 min timeout.

Caleb Williams is not a good QB and never will be. Another wasted Bears draft pick on a bad QB that never should've been drafted. He missed a dozen throws tonight, maybe more.

It is hard to tell how good or bad Williams is when the Bears’ OL is a sieve.

The self-induced sack by stepping out of bounds while scrambling was unfortunate.

He looked really good during the first three quarters but was constantly sceam

He missed throws and reads before the 4Q. OL is improved from last year and gave him more time, but it's not great and probably in the bottom half or quarter of the NFL.

Trying not to be a homer for Kyle M here, but #1RB averaged 1 yard per carry, and seemed to run straight ahead. Would have thought KM would get at least a few carries to see if he could get a different result, but maybe with the crappy OL, it may not have mattered.
