how many profiles do you shemales need?grown man (?) btw
Wish I could agree with you. I think there is a higher chance that if we made him an HB/TE day one he would have a much better chance at playing on Sundays than if he was a QB under similar circumstances. My somewhat educated opinion on QBs at NU is that for 20 years we’ve taken very talented guys and put them situations where it was almost impossible to develop and succeed. That includes Raiola until we hired Dana. IMHO, if Haarberg would have started out with a QB coach/OC like Dana and we hadn’t landed Raiola, the conversation would be very different surrounding him. Watching him play QB two years ago reminded me so much of Josh Allen early on at Wyoming.
I don’t care if you’re a young QB or a young farmer, the situation you’re put in early on has a tremendous influence on the first 5-10 years of your career. Unfortunately for a QB, if you haven’t shown it on the field in those first 3-4 years, your career is over. Haarberg has shown a great skill set but IMO never got the kind of consistent QB coaching and play calling to allow him to consistently succeed. And yeah, I feel the same way about Purdy with the addition that he had way too many injuries.

I don't care about anyone else's reasons. I just like putting trolls in the torture chamber.I seriously cant believe people get bent out of shape about the booster dude.
Precisely. Leader of the free world talks about his daughter’s jugs and nothing. I suggest Lateef should play more and 16/18 members cryI seriously cant believe people get bent out of shape about the booster dude.
I agree he has a better chance to play on Sundays as a TE. I just saw flashes in Satt’s offense where I thought damn, he could be pretty good at QB. Allen struggled greatly with accuracy and decisions at Wyoming but given the competition he was playing most Saturdays he put up numbers. You might recall Allen having I think 5 INTs in Lincoln.Wish I could agree with you. He caught a pass against MN in 2023 and they were developing plans for him, but then Sims turned out to be a really slow blinker and Chubba had an injury situation. It was Haarberg or the void. And last year they still needed him to be ready as a backup. Whipple was probably right in the comments he left for Rhule on HH. But he seems to be holding his own at TE now, and will only get better with reps.Wish I could agree with you. I think you'll see TJ this Saturday and then not again for awhile. Certainly the coaches would have a decision to make if it's tight against Michigan and Raiola gets dinged up in the first half. But then again, the Gramstad kid isn't a slouch. But they know TJ is a kid that they can win games with, and I think they'll try to preserve the redshirt. It gets burnt if they determine an injury to Raiola is long term.Burn Lateef's redshirt. No point in holding back if we need him. It's like finding weapons in a video game and never using them because you think you may need them down the road but it never comes.
At least I'm popular

I used to think this too, I am just not sure that is the case anymore. With Lateef, Raiola (younger) and Trey coming in over the next 3 seasons, the only redshirt I can see is younger Raiola. Lateef for 2027 as a junior, 2028 as a senior, Dayton redshirt 2026, Dayton compete in 2027 as a RSFrosh, 2028 Soph, 2029 junior, 2030 senior. Trey 2027 Fresh, 2028 soph, 2029 junior and 2030 senior. That would give Lateef and Trey 2 full years as a starter, if Dayton can win the job great, if Trey wins the job before 2029 great. Then continue to recruit at that same level.I think you'll see TJ this Saturday and then not again for awhile. Purdy is not playing that well for Nevada. Is it still bad coaching? I do not think Purdy has it. I do agree that HH would have been much better under Dana than the coaches he did have.My somewhat educated opinion on QBs at NU is that for 20 years we’ve taken very talented guys and put them situations where it was almost impossible to develop and succeed. I assume any plan for him would include what he and perhaps his parents would want. And yea, maybe we are scarred from the uneven recruiting and developing of QBs from NU's past. We see TJ on the field and think great, let's put him in a box for a year so we have him for later. Meanwhile Holgerson and Thomas appear more than ready to recruit and develop an entire room of QBs. Given that NU rolled for years with just TMart and then Tommy and not much behind them, the present circumstances are quite welcome.I used to think this too, I am just not sure that is the case anymore. With Lateef, Raiola (younger) and Trey coming in over the next 3 seasons, the only redshirt I can see is younger Raiola.
