It’s not yours just because it lands next to you. The poor woman probably never got her hands on balls before, and she had one snatched from her when she was so close.

It's embarrassing that a grown *** woman got so butt hurt over not getting a ball that she felt it necessary to storm over, put her hands on the dad, yell & scream that it was her ball, even after she saw it was given to a kid.
Not sure why dad gave in & gave it to her, but in the end the kid won big & Karen is embarrassed for life.
Afterwards, she was still fighting her fight storming over to a guy in an Eagles jersey & yelling in his face then turning around & arguing with people behind her before holding the ball & her middle finger up for all to see.

Now, do I think she should lose her job over this? No. Do I think whatever job she has might want to suspend her with pay for awhile until this blows over? Probably. it may save her company & her from some greater embarrassment for the next 2 weeks.

Just dye her hair and get different glasses until it blows over. A normal person in her position may have threw their hands up and yelled “oh, come on man” just from frustration and heat of the moment but to chase him down after he gave it to his kid…she is a piece of work.
even if she did feel it was hers and thought her hand was on it- once she saw him give it to his kid while hugging him. She should have just given a “my bad” let your son have it…

Definitely was not a good look. I know he has caught some flak for giving up the ball and not standing his ground but I think he made a judgement call and diffused a potentially bad situation. And in the end he and his son ended up with a lot more than a baseball. Personally, once I was older than about 13, I never got the fascination with getting a foul ball. In college, we got to sit in a suite right behind home plate at old Yankee stadium (my buddy's Dad was on some NY hospital board). We were scooping foul balls off the backstop screen with the provided long fishing nets and throwing them to kids in the other suites.

I think he made the right decision as well, that women was off her rocker and taking on the whole section. You can't reason with crazy people, you just have to get them away from you as quick as possible. If I recognized her and was her coworker, I would definitely try to avoid her as much as possible going forward. You never know what event might cause her to snap again.

I'm with you. Gaslighting, mocking, baiting, taunting--that's antisocial media.
Follow a lot of mountain biking stuff- there is taunting and mocking over the "correct" type of pedals.
Firefighting- some of the worst silliness-everyone has a better idea on how they would have done it.

Bad look for the woman, but maybe she was having a bad night, she has a terminal illness or some other sort of problem. Doesn't really excuse how she reacted, but for those seeking her out and trying to ruin her life because of one incident are sad.

@koleszar -just saw a video of the father and his kids, think he reacted the way he did because he was so shocked. His reaction kind of reminded me of Walter's in the Big Lebowski after he smashed the guy's Corvette and the owner confronted him.

It is possible the dad ripped it out of her hand, and with that lens she’s not out of line. Otherwise, yes, unhinged and out of line.

I agree. One night on social media to showcase the teams' reactions to treating the kid are fine. But days of coverage and trying to attack the wrong person makes it way too much. For all we know she wanted it to bring home to some sick relative. Doesn't justify how she handled herself but definitely would temper the days of attacks.

"Phillies Karen did her dirty deed at a stadium right next to Lincoln Field, where RU once struggled to defeat Temple. Also, her wrongful identification as being from Hammonton reminds the world that Schiano hasn't recruited South Jersey strong enough!"

Her motivation doesn’t affect the ongoing humiliation she deserves, only the behavior does. If she were 6 yrs old, you might have a point. But she’s not.
