ISU has it figured out.

Don't shoot your own foot off = you beat Iowa.
They tried but the Hawks are their *****.
It really begs the question, if you were any kind of decent QB , why would you ever go play for Kirk?
Gronowski is a decent QB. I don’t understand what happens when a QB plays for Kirk. Iowa has several guys who looked awful most of the time at Iowa who.have hung around in the NFL.

Until Ferentz retires this is the way it will be for Iowa, dull and duller. It will be one of the more interesting coaching searches when Ferentz retires.

It is a weird job.
Sure it is in a power conference but they have no NIL, the fan base is lame, they are totally okay with not winning anything.

Without divisions iowa almost has zero shot to ever do anything more than just hope for a bowl game.

The one guy the fans seemed to want (Besides Stoops who was not going there) was Brett B and he is locked up forever at Illinois now.

The Iowa HC would rather lose 16-13 than win 35-32 and that is why they suck every year.

Friend who's a Iowa State fan sent me this. Weird stuff even for that board.

He still could but I suspect they’ll want to get him as many game reps as feasible.
It's always possible he could get injured and have to redshirt, but I'm sure I heard Matt say that Lateef is our backup when asked the question about him redshirting. I think Year 3 for Matt is a all hands on deck situation, and Lateef has almost shown and likely will show enough on tape that he would be a kid other teams would go after if he were redshirted for reasons other than injury.

I expect we’ll have quite a few games where Raiola plays every down so a redshirt would still be possible. Rhule might be publicly saying that to influence future recruits.

Lateef knew what was up - as does Trae. Hopefully he stays the course and does what’s best for his career long term. Learn again as a sophomore and then two years to run the show before being a first round pick!
