This is for all the old heads and where the Kirk stans can come and say “Our offense is coming along” and “Our pass game is improving and will only get better” after we pass for 102 yards this game. You can also tell us real fans that we weren’t actual real fans because we beat UMASS and scored 32 pts.

I predict they'll get up something like 28-7 midway through the 3rd, and the offense will be 100% run after that. Brown will get in on the last 2 drives to hand it off after Gronowski finishes with a bunch of handoffs.

Come out in second half and a few adjustments and we see some completions over 10 yards and the crowd erupts

Score is never in doubt as Iowa defense shuts them down.

This is exactly how it'll go. But it won't just be from heat from the fans, UMass will be the last cupcake team we'll be able to aggressively pass against. So if we want any kind of easy in-game reps, it'll be this game.

I agree. For a seasoned QB, his decision making on when and whom to pass to, is terrible.

I get the sarcasm, and nobody can say it's back. But it was in a better rhythm than we saw the last 2 games, and Gronowski was sharper and quicker with his decisions than we've seen so far. I don't think he threw any into the turf or at receiver's ankles as he had many times during the first 2 games. Hoping this carries over to the next game against a better opponent. Hope is all we've got right now.
