There is no way he is worse than MG. I mean look at this historic record breaking stat:
Losing is one thing. Looking bad and losing, as we did, is another.I don't think MG was bad at all this game. He had several dropped passes by TE and WR. Can move with his feet. I am not going to sit here and say he is Archie Manning Jr, but he is a winner. Don't forget that Iowa State was the #16 team in the nation and we were in their place. There were several top 15 ranked teams that lost to unranked opponents this week. We were the dog and covered the spread. It is not all bad.
Didn’t have a bad game. Give him some legit receivers and he continues to learn Lester’s offense and makes decisions they’ll be fine. Nice to see the football board is still full of morons.I don't think MG was bad at all this game. He had several dropped passes by TE and WR. Can move with his feet. Speaking of morons, where does one get these legit receivers mid season for MGs only year here?Didn’t have a bad game. Give him some legit receivers and he continues to learn Lester’s offense and makes decisions they’ll be fine. Nice to see the football board is still full of morons.
Man this post is bad in many levels I had to respond twice because I forgot to mention he just set this record:Didn’t have a bad game. Give him some legit receivers and he continues to learn Lester’s offense and makes decisions they’ll be fine. Nice to see the football board is still full of morons.
“Threw a better ball today than last week”He's still adjusting to the speed of, not just D1 football but power level football (how many power conferences are there now?). His decision making, when and to whom to throw the football, will improve with game reps. Remember, he's only had about 5 weeks in this offensive system with his teammates. He also threw a much better ball today than last week.
I should have you on ignore. Using that POS in response to one of my posts is grounds for being reported!“Threw a better ball today than last week”
He threw for 44 yards last week!!!

Thanks. Adiós Felicia!Oh shut uuuup, Sally.
You don’t pay $1Million for on the job training. Wow, Iowa lost 1 game. There's still three huge games in the future. You don’t pay $1Million for on the job training. This analysis and path is for a freshman
We've been at that point for (at least) 5+ years now.systematic. its beyond repair at this point and time to move in another direction at HC.
There has been nothing to suggest that Iowa will break the trend of getting smashed against the top teams in conference.Wow, Iowa lost 1 game. There's still three huge games in the future.

Seriously, at least half the games we win aren’t very enjoyable.Losing is one thing. Looking bad and losing, as we did, is another.
Fielding a pathetic offense time after time sucks all the fun out of watching Iowa.
Will improve with game reps, lol…He's still adjusting to the speed of, not just D1 football but power level football (how many power conferences are there now?). Under 100 yards passing, in a loss, is a dogcrap game in 2025. Moron.Didn’t have a bad game. Give him some legit receivers and he continues to learn Lester’s offense and makes decisions they’ll be fine. Nice to see the football board is still full of morons.
And yet, I enjoy them all! Which may explain why I am bald and drunk on Saturday's in the fall.Seriously, at least half the games we win aren’t very enjoyable.
Winner, at some point it’s on the man in charge. I’m at that point.QBs who have started at least one game for Iowa since 2020:
Spencer Petras
Alex Padilla
Deacon Hill
Joey Labas
Cade McNamara
Jackson Stratton
Brandon Sullivan
Mark Gronowski
& all 8 of them took the blame at one point for an incompetent offense, but one thing has never changed!
Mathematically, if we keep doubling our yards, we could be throwing for 600 yards by USC!There has been nothing to suggest that Iowa will break the trend of getting smashed against the top teams in conference.
Isn’t there a saying that the biggest improvement is between week 1 and 2? We did improve, 44 yards to 83
PSU
Oregon
USC
These teams are going to stomp Iowa. Maybe the defense can be heroic in the first half like they have in past games, but Iowa isn’t winning those games 12-9
I would think even NIL contributors may be ready to see the next option.MG isn't getting benched until he gets injured.
How do you raise NIL funds going forward if you pay a guy $1M+ and don't play him???
Some fans are patheticGood lord we are pathetic.
