Spent an entire offseason expecting at least a partial improvement in the offense. We got Riley Leonard comps and was told Gronowski be a genuine game changer. Next season, let’s be a little more honest with the subscribers. Absolutely unacceptable.

5'10" receivers have to get separation.... 6'2" receivers make plays over dbs. We'll see this most of the season I'm afraid!
We arguably were missing our best RB, WR and TE in game 2. Funny how days prior to kick off we were the “healthiest we’ve ever been “ for game 1.
In both games I’ve seen multiple frustrated receivers not getting the ball. They’re open, our QB doesn’t know how to read defenses.
Seriously though Doc, Leistikow, and Kakert specifically all talked this team up bigtime this season between the new QB and Lester year two, claiming 10-2 and a chance at the playoff. Well, we are sure not going to go 9-1 the rest of the season given our team and schedule. I think we could be looking at 7-5 or 6-6, possibly worse.

I still think he's a credible reporter and been at it a long time, but I probably need to dial back on the podcasts and articles. I heard basically the same game preview on three different platforms this week

We continue to play undersize WR's and it's demonstrably not working.
From a QB perspective, who is easier to see and has more 'catchable ball' range - a 5' 10" target or a 6' 4" target?
The key play of the game was made by ISU's 6' 6" receiver who made a fingertip snag of a tipped pass. Our receiver in same situation doesn't come close to making the catch and the ball is intercepted.
